Passing away of Steve aka Jellygod
 

I think this should be posted since a lot of people on here knew Steve Van Ness aka Jellygod and would like to know about it.

First of all, today I received notice that Steve committed suicide on December the 2nd.
I'm not going to write a big emotional story about Steve. I'm just going to say that Steve always struck me as a nice, cheerful and silly guy who was always up for talking or having a laugh, and even though I never met him in real life, I'm sure hanging out with him would've been great fun.
I think it's safe to say no one expected him to commit suicide. And while I don't agree with the choice he made or understand why he did this, he deserves respect.

Damn! Steve was sooo cool. He will be missed. Regards to his family and friends. One of my better friends on FFR :'(

I didn't know the guy too well, but when you told me this earlier, it really struck me. Still kinda bummed over it. Also, like you said, he seemed really cheerful for the most part; I really wouldn't expect this from him. It's really tragic, and sucks.

Steve,

I will you miss you so much. If only you knew how many people cared about you. You'll always be a part of FFR and a part of me. You were so funny,kind, and generous. Probably the best friend I could have. I loved seeing you smile and enjoyed all those chats I had with you. Damn. I don't know what to say.. I wish this didn't happen, but it did. I hope you're happier where you are now. No more worries.

R.I.P. Steve. Such a cheerful, nice guy. It's sad to know he ended his life by suicide. :[

Oh my god.

He was one of my best friends on the site, we used to talk ALL the time. This is such a shock.

R.I.P Steve, can't believe this happened, you were such a great guy.

I knew Steve very well. About 2-3 years ago, we used to spend a lot of time together on the phone and talking almost every night. It's extremely sad to hear about this. Deep condolences to the family, his father was very nice.

He's in a better place now, filled with arrows, a perfect keyboard, and a DDR/ITG machine.

We love you Steve. If you felt you had to take your life, then I believe you did it for a good reason.

yea i know... this is pretty weird to see. seems like he talked to everyone on the site. i never took him for someone that could do this.
