That's right! In this tournament, only Amazings count towards your score! Call it MA or AA or whatever you wish, but here, only the best accuracy counts. Your score each round will be your Amazing count on the selected song for the round.

Legal Details -

Late scores will be penalized 50 amazings per 12 hours late, for up to one round. Nonsubmitters more than one round late will be dropped. Only those who complete all four rounds will be eligible for credit prizes.

Upon user request, I made the following rule -

Players may submit a score via PM to me. For these particular scores, I will mark in the spreadsheet that a score was submitted, but not post the score itself until after the round is over. This will be optional, and players are still welcome to post in the thread.

I would in but I'm facing a severe deficit in that exact accuracy so probably not unless I can fix the issues.

unfortunately, at a certain point, this becomes "who has the least flash lag" which kinda sucks, and song choice will definitely factor into how easy it'll be to AA things, given frame conversions

I did get a pretty good explanation from OWA on how the conversion process works, and I have a pool of songs at an appropriate BPMs, but I will have to deviate from that list to keep things interesting.

Also, I will avoid "bursty" songs as well because those are more likely to have greater frame issues.

Despite FFRs limitations, I still see scores in the scores thread and the AA is still in line with player's skill. Even though specific frames here or there may go one way or the other, overall better players still have better AA in general.

This reminds me of the idea channel episode I just watched about luck in games. I admit there's some luck in this tournament set up, but from what I've seen, AA has a strong correlation to player skill, but with a small factor of luck to spice it up.
