Could you elaborate further on the bold part? I don't quite understand why anyone would be inclined to vote early on whatsoever. While I'm not one to usually inquire or pressure people on stuff I don't understand what the benefit of voting early on would do for town or wolves, aside from start a potential wagon for people to just jump on last-second.

Well, it is my personal experience that wolves seem to vote less on d0 in general on here. I think voting is more aggressive. We all want to be liked, but it is more imperial for wolves to be. How people vote is also shaped by their own style of course.

I think it depends, I haven't actually played a game in months (I was night killed first last game lol) and I think it's been maybe years since I've played with xel
I'm content with waiting for ppl to make bad posts

*farts*

it's a boring post but okay

You have won me over by farting.

Also with the "on a game related subject" I don't really see how game relatedness is really role indicative at this point. While stuff is gonna go a lot quicker this round I'm still of the opinion D0 is 80% shitpost 20% crack reads unless someone REALLY slips up

I see you are a nihilist. I am not. I also believe that nihilism is self-fulfilling. Me mentioning that it is on a game related subject is relevant because I have enjoyed several shitposts in this game, but am trying not to decide who to vote based on who is least funny. So that is the distinction.

it's problematic because the vote was made within the first 5 hours of the phase and with vastly limited information

it's an easy vote if he's a wolf parking on someone, but it feels TWTBAW
he doesn't have a list of votes to jumble together a quick read like he did last game (when he was wolfing), but this game it seemed more lazy than forced

honestly, I don't know if I want to touch freezin with a vote today
I really want to write this off for this phase as TWTBAW only because it seems like he's not coming back
if freezin comes back, it's game time

You cannot tell him this because then it motivates him not to come back.

Ha ha.

But seriously, I think saying your read is based on if he shows up or not is questionable. It seems better to keep to yourself unless your actual motivation is to present pretty analysis and be fake helpful. Particularly since he claims whether he shows up is based on whether he is awake or not, which could have nothing to do with his role??

I am going to vote raeko. Hopecaster, roundbox, Freezin are my other top candidates at this time.

Unrelatedly, I am sad nobody took the bait for my planned shitposting, but the moment has passed now.

I mean if I absolutely have to vote someone, I guess I'll just reciprocate the vote I got earlier. Charu

I considered it either a shitposty vote, or a "I have to place this on someone so I'll put it here" kinda vote, which is exactly what mine is right here.

The final post he made before he left implied he might not be back, so he knew that the vote he had on xel was going to make it to the end. Me saying he's TWTBAW implies I'm townreading him, and my read would probably change if he showed up and started posting. It would obviously depend on what he reenters with, but I gave my read on him at the present moment and said it would be null if he started posting again.

I appreciate the explanation but it does not really change my standpoint that it is essentially encouraging him to pretend not to be here even if he can be here, if you defend him with the caveat in advance? Perhaps I did take "it's game time" more aggressively than you meant it.

Ironically I think it is too obvious for you to be partnered, but one of you being a wolf would not be strange to me.

Raeko has been fun, but I suspect her a bit and think she deserves more attention.

star saying this and then voting for me (who has casually tossed my vote around) is a bit weird

But yeah like, why isn't it you started them null because they're not here and then if they come back, based on what they say switch them either way? Cuz there's probably some meta I wasn't there for but if it's not that I'm lost

SubaruPoptart 05-4-2021 06:11 PM

Re: TWGTurbo 32: The TWG Train Rolls All Night Long GAME THREAD

Cuz I might be projecting my own read into what's going on here but having them as green by default but saying you're gonna switch it to grey or red based on what they say doesn't make much sense to me.

To me they're null until proven otherwise

Yum.

I believe I have seen you vote and not vote on d0 as both town and wolf so that in and of itself is not really what I look for with you? Also your votes have just been memes anyways.
