Isn't it because they boost your mmr by a whole division during promos? even if you're platinum and you have a bronze 1 with you, you'd still be vs'ing primarily Diamond right?

at least that's what I've assumed going into promos

divisions = V, IV, III, II and I
tier = Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.

you can't duo with anyone one tier above you anyway....

i'm talking about the promos between each division that requires you to play a best of 3... it's dumb and unnecessary and i'm glad they finally realize it was a terrible idea from the start - however it makes more sense to keep them when advancing tiers

I know what divisions/tiers are and their names/numbers as well as 3-win promos and 5-win promos.

I don't play ranked enough to know you can't duo with someone in a higher tier because ranked is poison.

Finally got through my OCE placements. Trolls pretty stronk but i managed to carry 3 out of 4 of my last games. Ended up in Silver V. Better than Bronze at least.

The goal is now Gold V by mid next year and Gold I by end of next year.

Kalista seriously the most op champ at the moment. Won 5/6 games laning as Sona with a Kalista. Get'um low, Kalista ults me into them, I ult & that's that. Also being able to throw you over walls & save your(rather my) ass is crazy. Fuckin nutzo champs.

Kalista can bully out people with the extra step every auto attack, but I've seen and heard both sides of this, where Kalista is extremely weak. Kalista, IMO, is a hybrid between Twitch and Vayne. Vayne can beat Kalista if she lanes properly instead of being kill hungry, and I've also had a good time Corki v Kalista, because Corki's burst is too much to handle.

actually, the more i play her, she's really really dependent on her lane partner

to combat her really shitty early game you have to have ana ggressive support that knows how to zone so you can mitigate dmg you take when cs'ing because you stand still. champs like draven/cait/jinx can fight against her rly well if u abuse kalista's AA passive...but if u have a lane partner that can zone then she can be p strong

same goes for her w passive, if ur a pussy support don't expect to win ur match well bcuz u need to be ham in order to utilize kalista effectively...and the same goes for the ad

I was plat 1 in S3 3v3's. Been looking to make another one but idk if I'll ever put the time in to do it.

I main jungle primarily but I haven't done it since the end of S3 though.

Jungle has changed in Twisted Treeline, where Wolves give Gromp buff, Golems give the same buff, and iirc Wraiths give you health back like Brumbleback.

It's also a lot faster now to jungle in 3s, where in 5s it tends to drag out in certain points of the game.

I'd much rather have you playing on your own account rather than having a situation come up where we decide to get together and it happens to be your brother playing haha.

fair enough. im teaching him atm since he wants to become a jungler. maybe he can play with u guys when he's good enough ;) he peaked gold 1, and i'd say he's around mid plat skill level, gold 3 after his provisionals.
