Mashed FCs
 

There's this Lv. 95 song (it's on my signature) that I mashed like crazy and managed to FC. However, my best score on it is from a run with four misses, so the FC flag doesn't show on that song on the menu. Does it still count like I FC'd it?

More general question, if on one run of a song I get a flag A and on a second run I get a worse flag B, but more points, the menu will show flag B, but does the game still count that A flag?

Sadly no, better scores will delete FCs. Bad FCs won't grant the FC flag. If you're trying to get the token "Here we go", mash EVERYTHING first.

The menu shows last played flag. Best scores in levelrank are the best ever raw score.

Mashing everything for the token is dumb, IMO. ill never get HWG simply because i refuse to mash for a silly token thats barely fun to play haha.
But the actual question has already been answered, if you get a better score you lose the FC. ive lost so many of them but im not really mad because id rather have a sdg with misses than a shitty fc. :P

Back in the day when ffr had combo scoring I didn't have a problem mashing some sections to get the fc, nowadays I just don't wanna do that anymore and thus my fc count is way lower than it could be.

Yeah, combo scoring was pretty flawed because of that. it was dumb when something like 101-29-0-202 beat a 1-0-1-0 with a miss in the middle lol.
Now its way better.
