Need some ps3 single player recommends
 

Herro, i've recently been on a single-player splurge and was hoping to get some recommendations, i'm looking for games with pretty immersive story lines.. That's bout it

so far i got

the last of us
uncharted 1-3
between two souls
resistance 1-3
heavy rain
god of war 1-3
fallout 3 and new vegas
assassins creed
borderlands 2
megal gear solid 4
skyrim

got any suggestions beyond what's posted on that list?

Tales of Symphonia (the PS3 remaster thingy)
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (Everyone complains about X-2, but I found the game enjoyable. Not sure about story depth, but it was fun.)

Tales of Xillia 1&2

All the Bioshocks
Batman Arkham series (Origins was eh, but still good)
Mass Effect trilogy
Jak and Daxter remastered unless you played them for PS2

I'm a bit late on this one, but the Mass Effect Trilogy is definitely the way to go.

Immersive storyline, and really gets you attached to the characters.

X-2 has got to have my favorite battle system in the series honestly. Its one of my favorite final fantasies overall because of it.

if you're into jrpgs you may or may not want to give star ocean 4 the last hope a go.

I only say maybe because the story is dumb and the only things that are alright are the gameplay mechanics and the ps3 version of the game keeps the original japanese artwork and voice overs, as well as having the option to actually turn that shit off (rip annoying ass cut scenes on the xbox version).

oh and the overpowered and best characters all got nuked in the ps3 version and are sub-par in comparison to the xbox rip. and the xbox version looks gorgeous but the ps3 looks like mud

Get Journey, it's a psn game, but it's still one of the better gaming experiences I've had on ps3.

By far the best purchase would be doom 2 in the playstation store. Comes with plutonia, TNT, and master levels as well.
