Welcome to the official FFR StepCon. What is a stepcon you might ask? It’s a simfile creating contest open to steppers of all skill levels.
*all times listed are servertime*

How it works:

Depending on how much interest/signups we get we'll split people into groups. Each group will be assigned a song with a pre-made .sm file set up for you. You will get two weeks to step and submit the song to us.
We will be taking sign-ups from now until Feb 9th, 11:59pm. On Feb 10th, you will find out which group you are in, and the song that your group will be stepping will be available to download. Files must be submitted by 11:59pm Februdary 24th.

How the winner is chosen and what’s the prize:

Once we have all the we will anonymize each submission and upload it to the DF engine. From there we'll let the community vote for their favorite. There will also be a small team of judges to look at the technical accuracy of the files as well. We will use both to choose the winner.

First
Winning file put into game during the next song of the week release.
100,000 credits
Choice of 3 event tokens, one of which can be VROFL

Second
75,000 credits
Choice of 2 event tokens

Third
50,000 credits
Choice of 1 event token

*More prizes may be added if we receive donations or if I can come up with something else to add.

Rules/other info:

*You may make a cut to the song if you wish.
*Please do not cut the song to less than one minute.
*Please step your song on the heavy/hard difficulty.
*You can not collaborate with another simfiler.
*Submissions should include songname and your username. eg. Alive (psychoangel691)
*Email your zipped file to ffr.events@gmail.com
*Do not solicit votes or reveal which submission is yours during the voting process. Anyone caught doing so will be disqualified.
