Though if you like rom com, Toradora is a great start. (It's what I watch most of the time, but it's you know, rom com, not exactly top-tier shit, but it's not trying to be.) You could also watch Weathering With You. But I'd say give Your Name a hard fucking skip.

I usually stay away from anime because it has recurring and annoying stereotypes/charachter design, sometimes I put up with it but oftentimes it's way too much :p
