It's fun and it adds some flavor to the game. The way people handled it was lame but it's always cool to see things shaking up the formula.

People looking at me negatively are pretending like I won't be looking for wolves, which is completely wrong. We still have 2 days to look, so I intend on taking my time a little since I have some papers to grade.

its possible for a wolf to get away with it in mylo/lylo, but that's about it and ofc lie detector claims in mylo/lylo are treated with that extra scrutiny

Ok fair enough, I think that they could live
We can leave it at that I guess

I am satisfied with roundbox's response, hf with papers fam

We kind of seem to have shifted to more game-related discussion, so I'm going to expand on the teamwork thing. The Survivor element introduces some conflict of interest, but at its heart, this particular game is still about lynching wolves (and as quickly as possible). The early suggestion that a black sheep is an effective play isn't a good one, particularly since there will still be an impetus to lynch suspicious players. Ultimately, it's in our best interest to cooperate and play seriously (as much as possible) in order to expedite our wolf hunt.

I actually find the high post count players to be among the most pro-town (to the extent we have a town) since content, however irrelevant, invites other content. Conversation is ultimately how we evaluate each other, and thus even empty conversation provides a jumping off point for more serious discussion.

Of the "high" posters, I probably find DFR the most suspicious, only because they seem a little preoccupied with my opinions, but that's a pretty minor ding. I'd like to see more from the lower posters (yes, that includes me for now).

I think you're equally suspicious as DFR because you both haven't said much that's worth anything in terms of reading.

(or I can't read)

Anyone have preferences for how we handle EoD?

We just follow our heart, cross fingers and vote our top scum?

this leaves shado, round, wabby and charu (I had forgotten wabby hadn't done it, I don't have strong feelings about this)

I've kind of gotten pretty much all that I wanted out of this, I think insisting that people do it or be lynched will not be very effective, but I'm not really sure.

I did. I'll do it again but I did. ...?

No point in worrying about it. Day One is always gut

Although, I think I have more then gut backing my vote

Thank you. :)

Anyway, to the main point. Charu is clearly a wolf, as I shall indisputably demonstrate. First, he is known for the catchphrase "Dohoho!" This may seem superficially innocent, but belies a more sinister heritage. As this phrase is often associated with the Muppet characters Waldorf and Statler, it should be noted that

1. There are two of them
2. They are hostile to all the other characters (i.e. survivors)

Sounds an awful lot like wolves. Dohoho? How lupine of you, Charu.

Second, Charu is also known for Snivy. A grass snake is basically a snake in the grass. And a snake in the grass, besides being treacherous, is basically a wolf. I'm sure they share like 99% of the same DNA.

More to the point, 11 pages and about 6000 Charu posts in, he still hasn't explicitly claimed to be a survivor. This is an important litmus test, because it can potentially be evaluated via lie detector. Clearly Charu fears the truth, and is therefore a liecanthrope.

Please note that the third part of this might not be true because I've only read through page 11 so far and I'm tired of not posting. But who cares, really?

I'm having tonereading issues while comparing these two posts.

I'd like you to tell me how serious you are in each of them and what's your stance of Charu vs DFR.

Note that DFR cannot be lynched tonight.

iirc there is still utility for wolves to make the survivor post, so I wouldn't clear ppl that made it

All claiming survivor does is make them susceptible to "cop checks" ---- it's not a death sentence to them, and going with the program reduces the suspicion they get, leading to smaller probability that they get selected by the lie detector, ironically

I'm not sure if the inverse is true though --- "not making the survivor claim means they're wolfy"

I found this list of players recently and decided to write poor notes.

1. Hakulyte - The Hero and Protagonist of the Story.
2. ShadoWolfe - Has Wolf in his name therefore it's a Wolf.
3. Red Blaster - I think that name sounds like a weapon, we should keep him alive in case of need.
4. roundbox - My brain hurt thinking at what's a round box.
5. Wineandbread - Probably drunk.
6. Precarious - I had to google that word.
7. DaBackpack - Sounds like someone helpful for carrying our stuff.
8. thesunfan - Probably spend his days bathing to the sun and not caring about his survival. I'm worried.
9. j-rodd123 - An individualist. Good luck to you, I hope you change your mind and join us, but honestly, you're probably safer away from me.
10. Tokzic - Try not to poison yourself.
11. MixMasterLar - A normal buddy.
12. R.E. Aryxi - A strange buddy.
13. Charu - A flamboyant buddy.
14. danceflashrevo - A shy buddy.

- End of Entry #2

What a great list
