5K+ Players online!?!?
 

I usually play FFR to maintain rank and just lurk on the forums here and there, but I can't ignore the fact that there is over 5,000 people on the website right now. I have never seen that many people on the website in all the years of playing FFR. Did I miss something? Or has there been a recent even that brought in a wave of new people.

i'm not entirely sure those are all real people, i maen nearly 6k people online and only a few games played in the last few minutes?

On a proper note though, the 4-digit number of players currently online makes me wonder whether that many people really are playing, a large number of bots found FFR and are registering to attempt to persuade people into clicking weird links in the forums, the number being broken, or all this being a combination of these 3 factors.

It's not the number of players currently online. That number is pulling from the number of active members on the forums, which is most likely represented by the default time frame of 30 days.

Essentially, it's the number of unique users that have logged in to the website over the past month.
