need a cut for this song

i need a cut for a particular song: https://ufile.io/awfuk

i wanna do both of the climax sections but there's too much boring stuff in the middle. you can keep the beginning if you like, i think it's good build-up

ive had people try to cut this but it always turns out awkward for some reason. if anyone manages to do a good cut of this ill send the person 3 of my unreleased simfiles of their choice (4k, 6k, easy/hard, etc)

I assume the boring middle part was from 1:30 to 2:59? Also, how did the other people differentiate themselves in their cutting style of this song?

Here's my first attempt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT3F1JGFOL0

Was there a rule on not using Effects? If so, here's my second attempt (no effects, only cutting only 1.30.000 to 2.59.500 in Audacity): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWGWOno5vzE

Alright, so I got your song sliced up and ready to go! If you'd like anything adjusted just let me know and I can fix it ASAP.

Here's the song: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6av81cxzqf...remix.zip?dl=0

And here's a summary of the cuts: https://i.imgur.com/Ps2BqcP.png

(The green bit is about where I cut in the second mix)

blergh, still a tad bit awkward

small complaint is that while im readjusting sync for this chart, i notice that everywhere you made a cut the gap changes ever so slightly (a few milliseconds) and i have to resync the section. not a huge deal but i imagine it isn't easy lining it up perfectly either

edit: ah, i found some details that need fixing
- the pads that come in at 0:06-0:07 seconds actually are a fill to the next 8 measure section. you put these on measure 5, if you're splitting them into 4 measure sections it needs to be one measure earlier
- at 0:14-0:15 seconds, you cut off the bass drum roll, if you can, try to touch it up so you cut off as little of that as possible, it should smoothly transition into the next measure
- at 1:20 seconds, as you're transitioning to the next climax, can you make the fade in a little bit more smooth? the fade in should accelerate in instead of being linear I think?

this is the least awkward cut ive heard so far, and interestingly enough it's the simplest xd

i might go with this one i think

what kinds of charts would you like? can't guarantee i'll have exactly what you want but ill do my best to find something

Okay, I looked into my files and I've fixed all of the timing issues, but I'd like to know which cut you prefer: the first cut or the second cut?

edit: looks like you found your cut, thanks for the suggestions though, the sync problem you mentioned is very helpful. The measure thing is just me not realizing that the pads were a fill for the next section, it was confusing me why the measures were counting 7 to 9 instead of 8 to 8. D'oh

Ok how about "be really liberal with the layering so it's basically some Korean file with dense hand jacks and random mini jacks" ok is that better Mr pitch relevance xd
