Help with lag problem?
 

When playing velocity engine standalone I lag like crazy but if I play the indeed engine or any other ones it runs just fine. Any ideas what might be causing this? When I play it browser I also have a bit of delay that I've never had before.

I've been having the same problem, and I've been talking with people who are saying they also have been getting lag lately. Standalone velocity engine was working fine for me yesterday but when I played today I got a lot of lag, had to also switch from flash player 9 to 10 again. Which helped a little bit but there were occasional lag spikes, but I was able to play a few runs with almost no lag. Also tried just playing on the browser, and on the legacy it runs pretty smooth but again still some lag, and velocity on browser has a ton of lag for me.

Maybe it's on the server side if there's quite a few people who have the same problem and if it showed up over night. I've also been having slow load times for the forums. I'll just wait it out until tomorrow or something. At least I got a decent run in for the tournament.

Can confirm site pages loading slow and lag on the game. Give it some time

It's something to do with the tournament, but no-one seems to be quite sure what.

The only way I've found where it's at least a little bearable is if you go to the FFR the Game drop down in the top left of the site, and choose FFR the Beta. That gives you Velocity in browser. I've had a bit of visual lag, but I've not seen much input lag so with a slightly slower speed mod I've just about been able to get away with using it!

For the record I usually play Velocity standalone too.
