It's like you can feel tugging and pulling as if you were lightly tugging on your hair, but protruding from the spot that received anesthetics. That's probably the most you can feel. Poking, prodding, rubbing, scraping, anything else you don't feel at all.

When I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time, I was put on general anesthetics. Not to be confused with 'local anesthetics' which is being described above. General anesthetics make you lose consciousness and/or a lapse in memory. You can stay awake during general anesthetics, but you're in a trance of unconsciousness, which is what is translated to those hilarious YouTube videos of people saying funny things after getting their wisdom teeth removed.

Yeah when I broke my arm back 2nd grade I was put under general then, I remember pretty much nothing and if it did it's been lost cuz it was about a decade ago

I've had general and local anesthetic as well as the happy gas. General anesthetic honestly feels like blacking out, your body shuts down and there's no stopping going to sleep and you just kind of wake up. Local; no pins and needles, imagine taking someones lip and just playing with it but it's on your face and you can feel a little bit of tugging on your face. Around the perimeter of the anesthetic you can get like half sensations almost. Mostly deep pressure feelings.

Happy gas is like being really fucking high on weed tbh but they usually accompany that with a local anesthetic to the roof of your mouth or your gums depending on the procedure.

I appreciate the advice but it’s the jumpstreams before the roll unfortunately :( I’ve been iso’ing them and slowing them down and everything but I’ve just completely blanked on them at this point and I can’t even read them, specifically the ones with the 13 24 13 patterns

Either way, I’m busy until end of round so I guess I have a year to practice and hopefully do better next year

I was put in local anaesthetics for my wisdom tooth removal and it didn’t matter how much they gave me it was brutal pain, almost passed out several times haha

I've had a misplaced incisor tooth removed from my lower jaw when I was in 4th grade (I think). The dentist applied local anesthetics to a small area surrounding that tooth so that I wouldn't feel pain while they were removing it. I can't remember exactly what being numb felt like, but it definitely felt as if you've lost nearly all sensation of a particular area.

The dentist said the effects of the anesthetics wear off within a few hours, so when I got back home, I was in severe pain for an hour.

Man I feel kinda bad with some of the other stories here cause I'm very lucky so far. I didn't even feel tugging, all I did was hear a little bit of noise and it was over. I think by now all the numbing should be gone and I feel virtually no pain, it's kind of crazy. I can open my jaw fine and swelling is almost non-existent.

I still have to see how the next couple days go though cause everything I read says it usually gets worse before it gets better, but with how I'm feeling right now I'm optimistic. I've been making sure to ice the area and such too, being careful to follow all instructions.

If we're sharing wisdom teeth stories, I got mine pulled under some pretty light local anesthetic only. I asked for a mirror and got to hold it up and see parts of the operation, really interesting but also pretty gnarly.

Then I got back home and it hurt like a bitch for 4 days and to distract myself during that time I binge played all three endings of Valyrie Profile and tbh all I remember is how great that game is and very little of the actual recovery so, distraction successful I guess.

Sending lots of good vibes your way, it's always rough going in with extra weight on your shoulders from another condition but a good surgeon will make sure you're comfortable. If your heart-related thing makes it so you can't have general anesthesia (I can't cause of lung crap) having a local is not bad at all. It's funky feeling but you shouldn't feel a thing from the procedure.

Who ever suggested trying mirror mode a bunch of comments ago you're amazing! Not quite enough time left in the round for me to get an AAA but was still good enough to get me down to go from 4-0-0-0 to 1-0-0-0! D2 is murder this year.

I expected it I'd dropped D1 and D2 down a fair bit this year. This file likely would have been their opener last year.

Mom told me "20 minutes on 20 minutes off" with the ice-pack and unless I'm misunderstanding something how the entire fuck do you tolerate 20 minutes of oof ouchie cold it makes no sense

also HeadXplit is so bank it is the National goddamn Treasury. I figured I could play one big boi song tonight since stuff was feelin good, but jesus christ i had to take this one in like 4 segments since I went spaghetti so many times.
I feel with enough practice and a settings tweak I can prolly get sub-50 goods on it but bro what the hell i'm definitely touchin peepee this round witout a dout. Faith is minimal but still there.
