David Wong Novels

....They're funny.

Halfway through Futuristic Violence and Fancy Suits right now (Chapter 31 I think), not sure if I like it as much as the John Dies series but it's pretty enjoyable and I would imagine alot more accessible then John ever will be.

Anyone else reading this stuff? thoughts? No spoilers without tags, please.

Finished it.

Ending runs with a gag for way too long but ultimately I would recommend.

I've only seen the movie John Dies at the End but holy shit it's so good, I really gotta get around to reading his novels, I enjoy his Cracked contributions more than enough to justify a purchase like that tbh

I read John Dies at the End, and it was an absolute trip that I can't categorize as any real kind of horror subgenre I know, and now I'm going through This Book is Full of Spiders and between giant spider turkey monsters, crashed government vehicles full of dolls, conspiracies, and a "zombie" epidemic unlike any I've read, along with lots of fantastic humor. I wish more authors could be half as fun as this, even if they aren't the deepest or scariest(but there is certainly nightmare fuel).
