Rebirth Simfiles

I'm going to go through with the enormous task of uploading every one of my simfiles individually, so you simfile collectors can fap to the fact that you will have all of my files, good or bad.

I'll even provide descriptions and my own ratings for each file for the 2 of you that would care to read such things

Each simfile in this thread is in order of date created (approx.). The rating after the comment is my personal quality rating, BASED ON OTHER FILES IN THAT ERA

I uploaded all of the simfiles in batches by era:

2003 - 2005: http://www.mediafire.com/?i7qwiw2fid0afpk
2006 - 2008: http://www.mediafire.com/?4gt7o1xgw9avk4r
These batches do not contain the 2009 - Present era as there are only a few files to download for those, so deal with it.

V [2003]
This was the first simfile I ever made all the way back in 2003. It is a giant piece of shit. It doesn't even have a banner. (click the title for download)[1/10]

bag [2004]
I guess it was my version of this song. Basically simfile creating practice in 2004. I remember pooping it out in 2 hours [3/10]

Drop Out 300 [2004]
Pretty bad file. I liked the song I guess [3/10]

Slave Labor [2004]
Me and the person that got me into this game had a simfile competition with this song. I think its pretty bad but I don't remember. I really haven't looked at it since I made it. [4/10?]

Paranoia Evil [2004]
This was actually decent back then but whatever. Pretty weird file. [5/10]

Posse [2004]
Can't even remember it. I think it was pretty dumb because it was one of my first 5 or so files. [4/10]

Get Up! [2004]
Banya songs were the shit back then. I had to step one. This file was actually pretty hard with the jumps and "jumpstream." Keep in mind this is 2004 and spread basically didn't exist. It was all one hand or index players [6/10]

Endless Dream [2004]
This was the first file I made that was actually sort of good. Its just stream stuff, but this file was probably the first of my "awakening" as a simfile artist [8/10]

Fire! [2005]
Random Scooter song. It was a popular song but had bad charts for it so I made my own. It was ok. [6/10]

Posse - Scooter [2005]
Another Scooter song. He was like onoken was in 2007 or vocaloid stuff is today. This one is better than the other posse file I made [6/10]

No. 13 [2005]
One of those files I wanted my own chart for. lel 24th trill. I couldv'e done much better. [5/10]

AAA [2005]
Streamy simfile made in 2005. This was also pretty popular and actually has a full stepchart. I think I was one of the first three people to ever step this song [7/10]

Tom Sawyer [2005]
I think there was a file for this that sucked, and I made my own chart. Happens a lot. It was pretty difficult with the jumpstream because hurrnobodyplayedspreadthen [6/10]

Poodle [2005]
Stepped this when the song first came out. It was decent. Sucks by today's standards [5/10]

Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star [2005]
Widely popular simfile back in the day. The current v2 version in FFR is very similar to this. Used to be one of my favorite files ever [8/10]

Cybertron [2005]
Just a random file I made. DnB poop. [5/10]

Get Up! v2 [2005]
A much better attempt at stepping this song. It wouldn't even be horrible by today's standards [8/10]

Happy Angel [2005]
My first simfile to be featured in any simfile pack (Keyboard Collaboration II). Snapps showed me Exige's simfile for it and I thought it sucked, so I made one and it replaced it in the pack. Was fun as **** to play [8/10]

Duality
Collab between me and Izzy. It wasn't bad for back then. It's an alright file. [7/10]

Idol [2005]
File in the F5 pack. 32nd trills, umad? They trolled a lot of people [7/10]

Princess [2005]
F5 simfile. My cut of Be Princess by DJ Sharpnel. It was pretty fun [8/10]

Spiral Galaxy [2005]
F5 simfile. Light jumpstream stuff. It was fun back then, and still is ok to play now. [8/10]

Summer -Speedy Mix- [2005]
F5 simfile. ITG2 had recently come out and I didn't like their chart for Summer. I made my own. [7/10]

Winter Shiki [2005]
F5 simfile. I guess you could call this my redemption for my first simfile (V). This one was actually pretty good. Trill practice. [8/10]

Synthesized Girls Heart [2005]
I don't even know why I made this. I think I had a boner over Shiki songs and had to step one. The vocals are terrible lmao [5/10]

Happy Snowman [2005]
Eurobeatdump. Has a full stepchart. The keyboard chart actually isn't bad. [8/10]

-26 simfiles in the 2003-2005 era-

2003: 1
2004: 7

Re: Rebirth Simfiles

Vault of Heaven [2006]
I made it when the song came out. It reminds me of Quasar, but a GOOD file for a song like that. Seriously, I still think it's a great simfile to play. It's fun. I don't rate barely any files a 10, but.... [10/10]

20031023 [2006]
HST made two files for this but I didn't like either of his. I think this is similar to my FFR version. Can't remember. [7/10]

Dream Layer [2006]
Something I made to see if I could quad something. No I couldn't. [6/10]

Fever [2006]
I think this is in the original VGMP. Easy file. That pack was full of easy files.

Creamy Sky [2006]
Random file I made because the title was sexual sounding [5/10]

Playing Inside [2006]
Same as Creamy Sky but this one made it into Keyboard Collaboration III. 0 jumps or hands or anything. Easy as hell. [5/10]

Happy Rainbow [2006]
More eurobeat. KBCIII file. Two charts, one easy one hard. It's still a good file to play. [9/10]

Why Did You Go Away [2006]
KBCIII file. Same artist as Happy Angel. I thought I could make another really fun file because of that. It turned out ok I guess. Happy Angel is much much better. [6/10]

You Are [2006]
KBCIII file. Collab with Zaghurim. Fairly easy file but it's still a good file to play. [8/10]

TKM [2006]
File I made for Arch0wl's Keys of Flames tournament. It scored a 9/10, but wow. This file looks like shit. Arch mustv'e been high at the time. [4/10]

Up To You [2006]
I liked the song so I made a file. But it turned out retarded. I don't like it. Also why the **** did everyone make graphics for me with anime girls with big tits back then. This song isn't even anime related [5/10]

Energizer [2006]
One of those songs I wanted my own chart for. Its alright. [5/10]

Lawn Wake I [2006]
Everyone was making Lawn Wake files but I was the first one to step Lawn Wake I. It was a good file. Similar file in FFR. [8/10]

Blue Planet [2006]
This was my response to NVLM_ZK releasing Reincarnation and Road of Death. Have a ****ing enjoy and head for the ****ing hills [??/10]

Angelus [2006]
PPP2 file. lel Inuyasha OP simfile. I don't know why I stepped a bunch of Inuyasha songs but this one was the best. Jumpstream, hands, jacks. It's not super easy but its not terribly hard either. One of my better files, I think. [8/10]

Cybertron v2 [2006]
Much better attempt at making a simfile for this song. It's actually alright. [7/10]

Fleeting Fantasy [2006]
Some intense streams and jumps and shit. Pretty much like Vertex Beta. Some stream practice if you suck at it. [7/10]

Super Rebirth (or Rebirth's OP) [2006]
OP that Zagh made. It's also a Rebirth/Zagh collab. Jacks and shit, because you all know I do jacks well. (remember when I was the first one to AAA club on FFR? yeah, umad) [7/10]

Love Tropicana Final [2006]
Simfile in PPP1. There were 3 versions of this song, and the plan was for me, Zagh, and Blurk to make a simfile for each song. This is mine. [7/10]

Stage 3 [2006]
VGMP2 simfile. Very simple. Should be a very easy AAA. Hell it was my first quad [8/10]

BB Revenge [2006]
SMGpack file. Perhaps one of my best files. It was partly a conversion of a solo chart. Non spread friendly as **** but deal with it. Play this to get better at spread [10/10]

Come [2006]
SMGpack file. lel inuyasha song again. This one is an alright file. Pretty easy. Should be an easy SDP. [7/10]

Disillusion [2006]
SMGpack file. Fate/Stay Night OP. It's one of my favorite anime so I had to step the OP. It's a good file too, though a little underlayered. I really hung onto the index friendly style for too long. [8/10]

Magical Hacker [2006]
SMGpack file. I think this was the first MOSAIC.WAV song anyone ever stepped. This one isn't too great but whatever. Maybe some people will like it. [6/10]

Musou Uta [2006]
SMGpack file. Utawaremono OP (probably didn't spell that right). This song has tons of potential but again, I underlayered because I couldn't make true spread files because I still played index and all my files were indexable for that reason. [7/10]

My Will [2006]
SMGpack file. Yeah another Inuyasha OP. This file is actually really good though. [9/10]

Rainbow Rainbow [2006]
Fun eurobeat file. Still enjoyable to play if you can do the 32nds. [8/10]

Saikyou OX Keikaku [2006]
SMGpack file. Sumomomo Momomo OP. This file is ok but it can be done much better. The solo is kinda weird. v2 incoming someday [6/10]

[b]Sleeping Terror
SMGpack file. Collab with DJ Ossa. Touhou song. I thought it was pretty cool so we stepped it. [6/10]

SOCOPOGOGO [2006]
SMGpack file. YMCK song. Perhaps it's a little too long but whatever. It turned out alright. [7/10]

Sunny Starry Carnival [2006]
Really fun "shuffle" style song/simfile. One of my favorites in SMGpack. [9/10]

The Lunatic Princess [2006]
SMGpack file. Collab with Necros. Touhou song, pretty cool file. [7/10]

Yamato Nadeshiko [2006]
Really cool song. The file was really good for the times. Now it can be done differently probably. [8/10]

The Games We Played [2006]
Queue the she gave me the wills. PPP2 simfile. This is and forever will be my greatest simfile artist achievement. To this day I'm sure almost none of you know just how time consuming it was to sync this damn thing by ear. However, the steps for this simfile are not the best they could have been. So... [8/10] Wait for v2. It will be here soon.

Crystalis [2007]
TGWP style song I stepped. Pretty cool but nothing super special. [6/10]

Judgment Days [2007]
PPP2 file. Collab with Zaghurim. Nice fun chart, and a pretty hard chart. I like this file still [8/10]

Xepher [2007]
A million other people stepped it so I had to also. I liked this chart at first now I think it's pretty bad. [5/10]

Hare Hare Yukai [2007]
PPP2 simfile. Haruhi OP. I think it turned out pretty nice. It's still good to play. [8/10]

bug_omake [2007]
Think of the song "300" in FFR. This is pretty much like that song but harder perhaps. It turned out to be pretty good. Underrated and overlooked file imo [8/10]

Electro Rush X8 [2007]
ODIpack 2 simfile. Perhaps one of my best. There is some difficulty here in the hands/streams and the 260 bpm 16ths at the end. [10/10]

Border of Maximum [2007]
RFpack file. Conversion of a solo chart. Pretty fun, but was never super popular for some reason. [7/10]

Gekkou [2007]
RFpack file. I really like this file for some reason. I think its fun even if some people don't. [8/10]

Nanairopanda [2007]
RFpack file. One of my favorite files. Really cool song. Unfortunately some parts of the file were kinda dumb, so it gets a [9/10]

Setsujou! Hyakka Ryouran! [2007]
RFpack file. Another Sumomomo Momomo OP. This one is MUCH better than Seikyou OX Keikaku in terms of simfile quality. This one is good to play anytime. [9/10]

Hyper Exige [2008]
RFpack file. Another solo conversion. It's a pretty boring song so the chart was the same, unfortunately. [6/10]

Anisakis [2008]
Another one of those songs everyone made files for so I did too. This is a complete disappointment of a file I made. Terrible. [4/10]

Fly Away [2008]
SMGpack 2 file. I really liked the song and made a file that matched the song, but it turned out pretty weak. [6/10]

Cyber Force [2008]
Dark Chancellor Pack file. Collab with Exige. It's a good song and it needed a file. I like the result [8/10]

I completely lost interest in stepmania in 2008. Maybe I was burnt out. My simfiles were certainly not up to par though.

Re: Rebirth Simfiles

All of these files are pretty new and unknown. I'd like it if some people would post reviews on these

Apocalypse ~dirge of swans~ [2009]
Light Chancellor Pack file. Love Zektbach music so I had to make a file. Feels kinda oldschool but it's alright. [7/10]

Turii ~panta rhei~ [2009]
LCP file. Another Zektbach song. This is the better of the two. It's one of my better files in my opinion. [9/10]

Slasher Blue [2010]
Xoon 5 file. Collab with Dew. I really liked the song and tried to make a good file out of it. I'm not really sure though. Could probably be better. [7/10]

Try To Star [2010]
Xoon 5 file. Awesome SSH song. Great chart in my opinion, one of my best. [10/10]

Whiteblue [2010]
Xoon 5 file. Part conversion, part whatever else. Some of it is stepped perfectly, some of it is bloated. But it was meant to be that way. [8/10]

Wish (eurobeat) [2012]
Newest file I've made. Though I have had it unreleased for a year or two. It's time to release. Fun easy song. [8/10]

The Games We Played v2
Parts were resynced, and the entire chart was overhauled. I'm confident this is the best I can do with this song, and I'm happy with the result. Truly, the greatest simfile I have ever made, in my opinion. [10/10]

List is completed. For the newer files, I'd like to see some reviews if someone is willing. Those are still pretty new and I'd like to know how they are.

Re: Rebirth Simfiles

Turii is really fun. Some of the pattern choice is very elegant (especially the 24th ministreams near the end). My only concern is the minifreezes going to the percussive elements because they feel inconsistent, but that's just me.

Slasher Blue is also nice if a bit overlong. Some of it feels overlayered, but the intensity of the son is captured well otherwise.

Re: Rebirth Simfiles

I vaugely remember you sending Bug Omake to one of the RFPacks but it wasn't used because it was too boring or you sent it in too late.

On a semi related note, do you have the Nageki no Ki or Ketsarku v2 I sent to RFPack 2?

moches 08-4-2012 05:54 AM

Re: Rebirth Simfiles

by the way, Rebirth, do you mind packing these all into one .zip for convenience? :)

Re: Rebirth Simfiles

Nice! I already have most of these, but im going to download a few of the older ones just for the hell of it. Keep em coming! I am going to make a Rebirth0 song folder like I used to have :3

Rebirth0 08-4-2012 08:10 AM

Re: Rebirth Simfiles

Torrent: I doubt it but I can take a look. I do still have some DCP and Xoon 5 submissions so maybe there's a chance I still have RFpack ones.

moches: Yeah I was planning on putting them into two files actually. One for each era. I was just extremely burnt out from uploading and typing shit for 4 hours last night. I'll post links later today
