Hello everyone, I'm XeoStyle and this is X&F or XeoStyle&FriendZ.

Most of you probably don't know me because i'm maintly another random osu!mania player/charter (i'm the Apparition guy), but I do love Stepmania too and I got the idee to create a pack of my best charts, but instead of just doing it alone invite some of my osu!/SM friends to join and throw somes chart too.

There is the result : 50 Files (20 from me, 30 from differents peoples).
The pack doesn't aim to be SUPEREXTRAMEGA high quality, but it's still really fun to play.



The files goes from an advanced level to high level charts. I did the ratings by myself so it might be a little meh, but you get the overall idee.
There are a lot of differents style inside (dump, JS, jack, Hold, mines...) with differents lenght (Autotheist Movement is 18 mins long !1!1) around every levels.

I'm open for feedback, I can probably make one update or two to make it better if needed.

BilliumMoto : He is the creator of the converter I used to make this pack a thing, just like Bad End from Evening.
Tim/Valedict : you helped me a ton with Ddream.
Elementaires, Wh1teh, Bumpinho, Hydria, Todestrieb, Feerum, juankristal, Parachor, Kamikaze, Pope Gadget, [Shana Lesus], underjoy, Phil, - Bad Apple - and Tim for the other 30 files, it's amazing.

yea, this pack makes me feel weird tbh. its a pretty mixed bag. theres some really fun stuff here and there, but some songs are just a little strangely stepped imo. the dumps are fun. but i just felt like some songs weren't very accurately stepped. but i guess thats what you meant by not SUPEREXTRAMEGA quality. it is fun. but i was a little let down.

but i only played through a small portion of the pack so far. so maybe i'll keep coming back to this. but idk, it seems like this is more hard than fun.

song selection is like... kinda predictable. a bunch of camellia tracks with bursts and handjacks.. good for scoring and practicing and shit but like, it's been done to death

same for j-core with jumstreams - i've already got too much of it. it's fun, no lie, but i was hoping for something new

also, run of the mill stepmania metal.. like, salieri strikes back? idk man

favorites so far:
- TU-MA-MI ALL NIGHTER; didn't realize halogen was debit13. i like this one!
- credits - cool song and really fun steps! but wtf is up with these huge ass cdtitles
- quand il pleut dehors - "aye this shits fire lmao" - me for 1 sec
- this jelly - same as quand il
- stargazer - i know i said i have enough j-core jumpstreams, but this ones catchy and nice, fun (a little repetitive tho, since it kinda just loops twice)
- sunny side up - better than i expected, will come back to this one
- The Relentless - good all around, i like hearing j-core with funkier samples like reggae and dub, so good song choice. difficulty is kinda perfect, just dumpy enough, but groovey and fun!
- international wrestling festival 2015 - wtf is this, it is a mystery to me, but i like it.. didn't finish, too long, but.. seems interesting. the steps are super repetitive though. for such a long track, it'd help to have some variation. i swear it felt like some of the JS sections are copy/pasted for minutes at a time. but uhh.. it's still fun, i guess
- Machine Gun - yoooooooooooo, im glad to see someone stepping NOISIA. (shameless plug - ive got a noisia track in my upcoming pack, release tba B-)) however, i felt like this song was a little under-stepped. i wish the accented drums in the quieter parts were stepped, those sections felt bland. but, the 24th streams on the reeses were mm mm mmm mmmmm dank B-) very fun, but will probably only return to this on rates

About the song choice (I talk about my charts), the overall quality can't be the same since I took the 20 best charts I did during my first year of charting.
In a more general way, you should probably take a look at my 20+ charts because i'm kinda better at making hard things :
You should probably look :
-Apparition
-Autotheist Movement (I'm really proud of this one)
-Cimmerian Shamballa
-kannabis kultivation
-the deceit / the violation (even if "the violation" is from April)
-Those who from the heavens Cames (Even if the ending is ass)

About Machine Gun, it's probably one of my oldest file, I think I should rechart it harder too.

I had a lot of fun playing this pack today xeo, thank you and everyone who contributed to it! It's a lot of fun :)

How can you be so close minded and not even give this pack even a shred of a chance and just label it as garbage. Then you go on to infer that no pack in the passed 2 years is any good? cool bro, also definitely not hypocrisy

Seems like a fun pack, more songs is always nice. I'm a fan of non anime songs, kind of sick of them to be honest lol, so this seems cool, I'll try it later when I'm on my pc, might write some more detailed review if there's some standout files to me.

Still waiting for a old school rap pack lol, raps hard to step though :(

just played thru those files you recommended, very nice work dogg. tbh i didn't play them at first because i don't quite like metalcore, but you nailed it pretty good. these are super hard, like rly rly rly hard, but nicely and intricately stepped. i just don't have the speed or stamina for some of it, but its always super satisfying blastin a blast beat B-) the one i did pass, cimmerian shamballa, i loved it all the way up until the end, where it seems like the syncing just kinda falls apart hah.. could use some tidying there
