It's that time again, welcome to custom tourney 6!


All songs for this tournament will be played here: www.keysmashingisawesome.com.
(You can also play in a standalone, there's a link to the .swf page on the main page.) All the charts for the tourney are new, and haven't been played. This adds to the fun, because you get to play something you haven't played before!

Scoring/Eliminations

This tourney will be based on raw score -- we will be taking your score without the combo bonus added in. This is a no elimination tournament. We will be totaling up all your scores from each round to determine a winner. Once started, we will have a link here to a spreadsheet where you will be able to see how you are doing against others in your division(s).


Divisions

Divisions will be decided based on the sign-ups we get. We will be placing people based on their level stats and will be keeping an eye on recent plays by all participants. We may have the A B within divisions again, we may not, all depends on the sign ups.


Rounds/Start Date

The expected start date will be Tuesday Sept. 20th at 4PM server time. Depending on sign ups and other factors we may start a little earlier. Rounds will be 4 days long.


Rules/Submission Guidelines:


1. NO CHEATING. Do not sign up with an alternate account and hope that you will get away with it. If we have a reason to believe that you are not using your main account, we will ask you. Be honest with us.

2. Be respectful to all other competitors in the tournament. Arguments will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the tournament. This includes flaming step artists about their charts.

3. Rounds will be four (4) days long. If you fail to submit for two (2) rounds of the tournament, you will be removed. In the case of an unexpected event, tell us. We will not bite if you have to take a leave of some sort.

----3a. Late submissions will deduct 5 goods (125 points) per day that it is late. If a round ends on 12-01-xx 11:59 PM and you submit it at 12-03-xx 2 PM, you will receive a deduction of 250 points.

4. Submissions should be in screenshot form. If you take a video of a run, be sure to grab the screenshot, or we will not accept it.


For those of you who do not remember how to take a screenshot, here's some help:



Mac users:
- Command + Shift + 3: Takes a screenshot of the entire screen, and saves the image to your desktop. From there, you can upload it to a site like imgur.com and crop it if necessary.

Windows users::
- Press the print screen button. From there, open Paint (or another image editing program) and paste your image in Paint. If you'd like, you can resize it within Paint at this time. From there, you can upload it to a site like imgur.com and crop it (if you haven't done so).

SCREENSHOTS SHOULD INCLUDE:
- The score being submitted
- Server timestamp
- If you are using a standalone, you will include your username located on the top right corner of FFR's window in your screenshot.

An example of an acceptable screeenshot:



- includes the username, and timestamp. Since this is being played on the custom engine, we will need a timestamp included on your screenshots. There are NO exceptions to this rule.

Anyone else that is planing on sending charts please do asap. I want to start placing songs where they need to be and so AJ can start preview videos. I think I might push the start date back just a little bit to allow more time for sign ups and for people to finish up charts they were going to send in.


I know a lot of you have school, do 4 day rounds give you guys a good enough time to play your songs?


EDIT: Here's what I did, I set the start date for the 20th at 4pm server time, now I know some of you will be in school but there's a reason for this. I want to try to get part of the weekend in for all rounds so you guys have a better chance of getting to play your songs. This way the round is starting Tuesday and ends Saturday and the next round starts in the afternoon Sat and gives you Sun so there's weekend time and end Tues, repeat. Sound good?

Looking like 20 files so far. Might find a few more to add. I have a bit of a backlog anyway.

p.s. Dossar the files I sent you, I'm also sending to this tourney. First one to use the files gets them or something, even though neither of you probably want them because holy shit my Friday file is bad XD

Sent 114k credits. I didn't purposefully choose this number because it's 1k above Frankie's xD it's because that's how many I had before I reached the amount to have FFLBF.

Are these files public already? We don't want to use publicly released files for this tournament; leakage poses a threat for problems because some people might have seen files considered for inclusion, etc.

I did send three of them to Dossar, and I've changed those since I sent them. The rest are totally unseen...

I'm giving around half my winnings from Middie's tourney to this, since I already have Planet ==Karma==.

Speaking of which, Post some scores there! Regardless of if you lose or not.
