BEFORE YOU POST ANYWHERE IN THIS THREAD, READ THIS ENTIRE POST CAREFULLY! I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW TO READ!
Too bad this isn't the minigame. Good job on finding this one though.
Welcome to my 2nd tourney of darkness! This is my 3rd overall tourney, so I basically know what I'm doing here. I'm gonna just go through EVERYTHING you need to have and do in order to participate in this tourney.

1st of all, you need AT LEAST 500 games played. This is so that I have SOMETHING to work with. Your profile MUST be open! If it's not open, open it for everyone to see! If it's private, I will add you as a friend or you make it public.

SIGNUPS ARE OPEN!

No complaining about where you or someone else is placed on this thread! If you have anything about placement, PM me about it and be nice. I will look harder into it and make a decision whether I change your or their placement. Should you complain on this thread, I will place you in the Masters division where you will get owned! Any further complaining will lead to disqualification! Very important that you PM me about anything!

Each round will last THREE days!

You have ONE week to sign up! This tourney starts on March 1st at 8:00 PM EST!

To score in this tourney, it's going to go by the TOTAL score. You must also use the dark mod in order for any score to count! I will not be as lenient as I was last tourney! For example! This is what I would EXACTLY wanna see for a score submission as a minimal requirement!


This is how you take a screenshot! This is for all the people who have never played in a tourney before!
1. When you get a good result to your manner, press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.
2. Open up paint and go to edit then paste.
3. Cut the SS in any way necessary to where not the entire screen and the score (and maybe your log in stuff) is showing.
4. Save it!
5. Go on ImageShack or Photobucket and upload it there.
6. Copy the IMG url and post it in this thread.

P.S. No links to scores! If I have to click something to see your score, it will not be accepted.

There will be 6 divisions. They are as follows. Difficulty ranges are NOT guaranteed.

WTF (FMO on up)
Master (VC on up)
Expert (Challenging on up)
Advanced (Difficult to FMO)
Intermediate (Tricky to Very Challenging)
Beginner (Standard to Challenging)

I will place you based on the following!
-Level Ranks
-Skill tokens you might have
-Results on recent tourneys (If you did very well in New Years then you will probably be placed higher)

I am NOT the best placer in the world! I do know what I'm doing though and if I make a mistake, don't complain on this thread!

As for prizes, I've yet to determine them yet. I only have 35k so right now only 1st place would get like 7k each. PLEASE DONATE IF YOU CAN IF YOU WANT THE POT TO BE HIGHER AND FOR MORE PEOPLE TO WIN PRIZES! Actual prizes will be determined towards the end of the tourney.

I will tell everyone that prizes will be the same for each division! I don't like how beginners don't win much because they're not as good as a master. Plus it makes math more complicated if we were to go out and reward beginners like 40k to the beginner winner and like 200k to the masters winner.

amen to this, ive had a tourney template for a while now, and my credit reward is the same for beginner and master....theyre the best at theyre division they should get the same prizes.

Dark mod is basically a little twist to this tourney. That and according to the FAQ here, dark mod is supposed to be intended to make it harder to get a perfect. I haven't noticed anything and I just find it much better for me.

Plus on the last tourney of darkness, I've gotten a few people into playing dark. They've gotten better just doing that! I've decided to do this dark mod twist again to see if more people get inspired to play dark mod full time on FFR.

tangomango = low advanced...

both in Intermediate though. Not complaining about placements... just saying they need work. Yes I read the entire first post, and yes I'll PM you if it doesn't meet my satisfaction before it starts.

I'll send every last credit I have in a sec (it ain't much, I throw credits around like nothing). And tomorrow I'll do a full check of division placements just for practice. I'm planning on hosting a tourney soon and need to see what level most people who participate in tourneys are at.

Note for you though: You have to take into consideration the difficulty level you're giving each division. Honestly... Go look at tangomango's stats, then musicdemon's. Who would win if they were to both play a VC. No competition, and its not even fair =/

I think I'll be hosting FFR's first ever 6 Division Tourney here in a couple weeks B)

I'm going to be raped in advanced lol, but whatever. The majority of people in advanced can AAA at least one VC song and I struggle to AAA challenging. But then again I'm probably too skilled against most people in intermediate (with the possible exception of funmonkey), so I guess advanced it is then xD

I hate 5 Divisions, which is why I'm making a 6th. I hope it catches.

Like I said on the front post. I'm not the best placer in the world. I needed help on the 1st 2 tourneys I hosted and this one is no different. I have all week to get this right and it's only early Monday morning.

Created and logged in to only under proxy, transfer creds by gambling during dead hours, etc. I could sign up for a tourney and easily get Beginner on it in a few months :D totally not serious about all that xD

I'm not sure where to place you. Your level ranks seem amazing and I know you well enough. Your either in expert or masters. I've yet to decide.
