(not sure if this is the right place to post this but....)

Hello fellow FFR players! I just got engaged this December and am getting married to my wonderful fiancé Mary next July. I wrote a little 100 word paragraph about our relationship and sent it in to this photography website (well, I was forced to by Mary ;) ) and we were selected as a top 10 finalist! The winner will be whoever gets the most votes by Feb 28th at 11:59 PM. You can vote once per day per computer (in other words, use your phone, comp, ipad, and everything you have!). I would be VERY appreciative of you all voting for us.

My hope is that the other couple hit up some computer labs or something today, so hopefully that dies down. I think ffr will show its true ability during the week once people have computer labs at their disposal :) as for me, I am currently walking around UVA voting on every computer I can find!!

Ok, Mary did some research on Jamie. She apparently has a blog with a decent amount of followers. I would say this is bad in that she has a large fan base, but good in that maybe she can only count on votes from just that subset of people. Her votes have slowed down noticeably over the past hour, while I have been feverishly infiltrating every library I can get my hands on :) Also, I am currently in the process of trying to get two fairly large running websites (letsrun.com and flotrack.com) to help me out, so I think we are in good shape.

Well I posted a topic at one of the forums I frequent and hopefully I'll get a good response if everyone isn't too lazy. Hopefully you'll see some spike in votes shortly. I'm also going to try one other forum where I have lots of friends who are pretty activate to try and get them to do it too.

Alright, figured out how the voting system works (I think). Apparently for this particular survey, the system limits the users by cookies and IP addresses. What this means is that the system will check to see if you have a cookie first BEFORE it brings you to the results page and at the same time, checks your IP to see if you voted or not. So if you tried to delete your cookie and vote on the same IP address, the results page will not show up and the vote is not counted. If you tried using a proxy but did not delete your cookies then proxies will NOT work.

I'm predicting that the only way to cheat the system is to get out of the site, delete your cookies, and THEN use a good proxy before going back to the site to vote. Also, another thing that I would like to bring up is that if you tried using a proxy on the page that bballa provided, it will probably not load the site correctly because something goes wrong with the scripts (at least for me it does) however if you go to the main source and used a proxy, it will probably work from there.

PS: I am not 100% sure if it will work but it seems like it would. I would love to check but my Internet is too slow xd
