Haven't finished the download yet; is the UI all in Japanese with no translation option? If so, is there a picture with notations next to the original text that are rough translations?

Found an English translation patch, but won't work yet, as this was for closed beta; however, keep an eye on this page, because they're working on a version that works for open beta.

You don't need to know japanese, you just need to have common sense + several helpful guides :3

PS: I'm pretty sure there will be an official english patch or w/e as in the launcher there is the ability to change the language (Although currently only japanese) Will just take some time.

Some bozo that helped make Windows decided it was a wonderful idea to have uninstall programs linked to your start menu instead of the game itself, so I uninstalled it...

Now I have to go through another couple of hours of reinstalling.

aw man. i guess i'll download and it install it tonight tomorrow. Lately I can't really play any games on my laptop because it randomly slows down and stutters to like 10 fps. i'm guessing it's a heating problem.

Damn maintenance I just wanted to start playing too. I have been reading the forums and apparently there is already a hacker -_- and some people think the maintenance is for this reason but I highly doubt it is.

If you make a character on Ship 6 you can only play on that ship, seems kind of dumb to do it that way imo, but eh.

Apparently as a ranger, you can shoot without reloading if you do it in midair. Normally 3 shots before reloading, but I jumped off a rock and held attack, just kept going. Also freezes you in midair for a second. Yay physics!

We've tried making a new char on ship 2 about 50 times throughout the day.

I'm getting an error where it says my account name has not yet been registered. Not sure why this is happening, I'll see if I just have to wait and try again tomorrow, however I also can't log into the website because I can't use the authenticator due to the lack of Japanese symbols. If anybody has any suggestions feel free to throw them my way. For now I need to get some sleep.

if you're talking about the captchas, I got around that by using a hiragana/katakana alphabet chart, since japanese captchas don't use kanji

Killer, did you get an email from the PSO admin auto-emailer? If not, you made a Sega ID without registering any games on it. There is a page that lists all the games and a button to register for them. Gotta find PSO2 on there and sign up on that.
