The reason behind this:

People on FFR, like you, can advertise subscriptions they are willing to sell in return for credits. If you are interested in a subscription, aren’t able to personally purchase it, and have extra credits burning a hole in your e-pocket, you are able to purchase a subscription in this thread.

Also, take note that not only are you getting a good deal out of this, but the seller will be receiving credits that they might need for the game. You will also be supporting Flash Flash Revolution by giving them a chance to earn some more money that goes towards the site.

How to become a seller:

Make a new post in this thread. You must include your prices for each item and how much you want to sell. You may also choose the name of your shop. If you don't, I will use a basic title. (Username's Shop)

If you wish to close your shop (for a certain period of time or not), you can say so in a post and I'll write (CLOSED) next to it.

FAQ:

How do I send credits?

Open FFR the game. Click on the "FFR Shop" located in the bottom-right corner. The "Transfer Credits" window will open. Enter the name of the person you wish to send your credits to and how much you want to send. When both fields are filled, click the "Transfer" button. MAKE SURE TO ENTER THE NAME CORRECTLY, OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT LOSE YOUR CREDITS! (Copy/paste to make sure you got everything right.) Your window should now look like that:



Is it safe?

It is totally safe. IF (note the capitals) someone decides not to give credits/pay item inside a legitimate time frame, FFR administrators will make sure the reimburse the victim and punish the culprit.

What are the (+8;-1) next to the sellers' names?

They are the buyers ratings. When a buyer finds a good trade, they may give a +1 rating signifying that they liked the service. On the contrary, if a buyer doesn't get what he wants, can't get in touch with the seller, or is dissatisfied with the seller for any justifiable reason, he may assign the seller a -1 rating. These ratings can't get removed unless the buyer changes his/her mind or when a negative rating has been given without any good reason.

I want to buy something. How should I do that?

First, make sure there is a shop opened and that you got enough credits to buy what you want. Then, make a post saying what you want to buy and from whom. Send the required credits to the seller. See the walkthrough above if you don't know how. If you bought a T-Shirt or Stickers, also send a PM to the seller with your name and full address.

I opened my shop and someone wants to buy something from me. What should I do to make sure everything goes well?

First, make sure you got the credits. The buyer should always give the credits BEFORE the item is bought. Then, go to the FFR Store (located in the menu bar) and choose the required item. You might need creating an account if it is your first time buying something. Then, if you are buying a T-Shirt or Stickers, don't forget to change the shipping address and your name to the buyer's address and name. This can be easily changed back after. Once the order is completed, you will have to log on PayPal. Follow the few simple steps and it will be done. Finally, post in the thread saying that you bought the required item(s).

I just received what I bought. Must I do something?

You aren't obligated to do anything, but it would be appreciated by the seller if you posted in the thread saying you got what you want. You may also rate the buyer if it isn't done yet.

I have not yet received what I want. What should I do?

First, don't panic. Every transaction takes time. You may send a PM to the seller asking if he sent the required item. He should be able to inform you on what is going on. If you don't get any answer within a reasonable time frame (read 5 days,) post in this thread saying so. I will try to sort this out personally. If after 10 days we are still without any news from him, see question "Is it safe?" above.

@StepmaniaGod: Like I said numerous times, it takes an abnormal high time to process an e-check from Canada. Once I will have some money in my PayPal account, such waits won't occur anymore.

wargasm: as of now, use of credits = secret songs. beyond that, people use them to give away in tournaments that they run. if we can ever figure out how to 100% secure the credit system, we would likely have ffr schwag for sale via credits... although the prices would likely be pretty high.

so, basically... people are running these shops not for the credits (because they don't have that much use).... they're running them because they want to help donate to FFR.

I'd like to have a nice FFR sticker...but the ones currently in shop aren't exactly, well, worth creds to me.

Any of you subbies have an inside word on new sticker designs? These haven't been updated since 2005 and since we have so much talent hidden here in the community I'm sure SOMEONE can make a better design.

we haven't done a new sticker design, or have plans for one, in the near future...

i think, if we were to do a new design, it would be part of a large promotional event in which the purpose of the stickers would be as giveaways, and not for sale. yes, we'd offer them for sale, but that would be secondary.

ways in which this would happen: if we attended a very large convention, such as Anime Expo. And we do not currently have plans to attend one... although we would like to in the future.

Aw, well that's a shame. I'd so very much like a better design, even some that reflect the Caprice T-shirt design, the current ones are so...dull.

Would cost of production be a major deal if I managed to get together some designs? I'm just not very willing to wait years for a decent sticker. (No offense to the original creator)

oh darn you had to raise the price of the tshirt. Now I will never get it. I have never had that much ever. I am still at 56,499 credits and last time I posted like 2 weeks ago or something I said I had about 54,00. It takes me 2 weeks to get 2,500 credits!!! I am never going to get the tshirt. Why did you raise it anyways?

You'd have to contact Mr Key about that... and, even then, not really. They're shipped regular mail, USPS. Shouldn't take more than 2-3 days tops. I got mine 2 days after Jason shipped it, and i'm 2500+ miles away (but still in the US).
