i've been making files, haven't made more reviews yet, not too many submissions are coming in, pack is still on

that's about it, things are going pretty steady. I should get some reviews out this weekend since I have periodontal surgery on Monday and I'll be out of my mind on painkillers for the whole week.

I also got Gradius V and Katamari Damacy so there's always that lmao

Unorthodox Red- I'm not sure if I like it or not, but I'll send it to some guys to get some more opinions. it's quite a different song i'd say
Wings Of Demise- If I remember correctly I don't think this is a submission but rather something you asked for reviews on in a group chat and I happened to download it. Anyways xD the 32nd trills are a nono trust me on this one, everyone hates that freeze trill i put in abyssal, and this one is a lot faster, it breaks combos and it's annoying to even look at. I'd suggest a 32nd roll instead (without freezes). To bring your jumpstream up to difficulty I'd also suggest instead of putting a jump every 4th (blue note shift) you focus more on putting your jumps to the vocal's and the instruments that hit 8th notes. I think I hear some ghosted 16th notes at some parts in this file for example i don't hear all the 16ths from 33-35 seconds, overall the song has enough going on that I don't think you'd have to ghost 16ths for the sake of difficulty, and you can figure out stuff to do to be just and more on sync with the music. Overall you have some nice pattern usages and I think with a little bit of improvement you'll be a pretty awesome simfiler soon

Dark Matter- this song was popular on guitar hero a few years ago, it was "the hardest song" for a while iirc, I wanted to step this for a long time but never got around to it until now

Fraps decided it was time to record slightly too loud, i turn my stepmania down to 30% volume so most of my preview vids are normally kind of quiet, but not this one lmao

So my plans for finishing nuclear blast 5 are as follows:
1) step these songs


2) fix ups
Do full version of Vicious Delicious
Do full version of Bodiless Sleeper
Legend of the Black Shawarma fix ups
Sirius VI fix ups

3) trim off any songs i think won't be played a lot or ask for fix ups if i REALLY want the song in

3.5) set and fix audio previews, i fucking hate this part

4) Graphics department
gonna search up wallpapers and stuff, find what i like, then have people photoshop titles and stuff on them for banners and backgrounds, or just let them do whatever if i don't have anything good

5) write the release post (gotta come up with some crazy stupid shit to say in it haha)

6) release it O:

Since I make about 4 files a month on average (like 1 a week) and I plan to make a minimum of 8 files, or a maximum of 26 files, I should be set on files anywhere from 2-6 months from now, that is my ETA for this pack. I want to finish it up faster than 6 months though, so it's a tough call. I know you're all waiting very patiently for this pack and I've put a lot of time into it so far, I really think you're all going to like what I have to release when the time comes!
