Re: NHL Playoffs Predictions (Credit Giveaway)
The Canucks have some work to do if they want to stay alive. Taking the 8th seed to 7 games and being outscored in the series 12-6 is less than ideal for arguably the best team in the playoffs.
Eastern Conference Capitals > Lightning Flyers < Bruins Western Conference Canucks < Predators Sharks > Red Wings |

Also, so much Canucks hate. Which leads me to the first re-cap of Round 2! - VAN/NSH: A goaltending duel to the finish, but it ends in the hometown's favour as Chris Higgins scores his second of the playoffs; both goals, ironically enough, were the 1-0 goals in both game 1s. Vancouver gets another head start and will continue this series on Saturday. And for those just joining, as well as for those still thinking of their picks, I will not allow any picks after 2:45 PM PST on Saturday. |

Re: NHL Playoffs Predictions (Credit Giveaway)
Beautiful, heart attack game today by Sharks - Come back from down 1-0 to win 2-1 in OT, the game winner was in his first playoff game and his birthday! What a great way to celebrate your birthday. haha

Re: NHL Playoffs Predictions (Credit Giveaway)
Daily re-cap:
- WSH/TBL: Cue the upset! Or at least one quarter of one. Tampa Bay started slow, letting in an early one and clawed back for a 4-2 win. - SJS/DET: Detroit started the 3rd up a goal, and San Jose came back and answered. Fun fact. Only 25% of the teams in the East who won game 1 went on to win their series, while 100% of the Western teams who won game 1 did. This bodes well for Vancouver and San Jose. |

Ditto with 2009. Sorry, I forgot to add that I was talking about this year when stating that stat.

Re: NHL Playoffs Predictions (Credit Giveaway)
detroit will eventually pick apart niemi... they're just too good.

Re: NHL Playoffs Predictions (Credit Giveaway)
Yeah Detroit is pretty tank and is probably the most consistent team in NHL history. Wouldn't surprise me if they made it to the finals
