I played for about 30 minutes a few days ago and got blood clot boy, then died in 3-18 when going for brimstone boy.

I haven't been going for time attack yet.. I need to get some more Iron Boy achievements beforehand :P

You don't need to finish the stages in order; just finish all 20 stages in whatever order with whatever characters you like (ofc if you are like a hardcore/masochistic gamer you can do them in order with meat boy alone)

You've spent twice as long playing the game as I have you should be destroying me. I just do a mix- if I'm getting annoyed with a no-death achievement I'll try to beat some scores so I can die as much as I want before trying again.

I know I don't have to finish the stages in order, but I hadn't tried for the no-death hell achievement before so that was my first attempt. I beat 3-18 second attempt and went on to beat 3-19 and 3-20. Then I started screwing up randomly so left it for now.

I've no desire to use meat boy alone or make the game harder than it already is. To do hospital dark world no-death achievement I used meat boy, the kid, jill, and captain veridian.

I've been using your scores to push myself to beat my own scores again. So far I've went through forest and hospital (light and dark) and my rank is back to #202. I'll push for the rest later and hopefully get back under #200.

Have to say, a couple of your scores are damn good. I'd have to spend a good bit of time [or get a good bit of luck] to beat them.

Devmode was leaked early December. I'd still rather wait for the level editor. Team Meat have said it'll launch with 100 custom levels already included. Then anything made in Devmode can be transferred over by the individual authors who have been making them.

From what I've seen on youtube it looks like a few months extra playtime.

Your levels: First one - Hate levels that have colours like that. Apart from that it looks easy enough. Second level looks awesome. Reminds me of the dark world of The End. Have to laugh at the mad rotating saw seamlessly flying between platforms and spinning bandage girl.

Finished speedrunning Forest as much as I could, and got several top-100 records which made me happy :)
Also ranked up in the global ranking from 500-ish to 406 or something. On to chapter 2..

I'm terrible at this game. 10 000 deaths, *90 bandages thus far, haven't even played some of the dark world Rapture levels or any Cotton Valley ones. So I'm on my way I suppose, I just die way too senselessly >_>

Omfg I know this is a pretty old topic but
shieeett I unlocked the Kid yesterday and beat the Dark World boss.
Also, I have 100%'d 1-4

annoying levels are Skyscraper, XOXO, 7-20, 7-20X now lol

I've started replaying the game, slowly, since I got a new computer not too long ago and lost my saved data.

I've wanted to replay it it anyway, so :D

Only thing is that this game seems to artifact in the menus using ATI cards. Wish I could fix this; it's pretty annoying.

Just bought this game and going to optimize everything as much as I can in an obsessive manner :D Took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to play the first 4 levels because I had to speed run them.

I recommend beating the game (read: 100%) first and then speedrun.
