You need to save your file as a .sm rather than .ds so you can open it in SM. From the SM editor you should be able to save it and a .dwi will be generated.

EDIT: 666 posts

In addition to what Fission has said, you need to save your SM file in something older than SM5/SM-SSC, because the newer versions of SM don't create .dwi files.

I'll give it a try!

EDIT: Well, I fail a lot :p
I got the .sm file of my track, and indeed, SM5 doesn't care. I tried with SM4 but the game crash when I open it with the editor. Hmm..

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide

Try opening it in the SM 3.9 or 3.95 editor.

Is there a way to nudge a selection of arrows?

YoshL 07-29-2013 08:17 PM

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide

copy all the arrows you want to nudge
remember the color of the first arrow (i.e. 4th arrow)

move to another location (maybe a 16th up)

paste

red 4th gets put on the 16th note, all other copy/pasted notes get moved accordingly

Any collectors out there want my Primas GTA 2 official strategy guide? I actually have every guide up to episodes of liberty city. Im getting rid of all of them but definitely would hate to throw out the GTA 2 one. Its out of print and very rare.

No, just no...

Since this is a DDReam thread, I thought I'd say that I started using it.

I actually have a question, how do I go about submitting files for FFR? What format do the charts need to be saved as?

You can submit files either as a .sm or a .dwi with a .mp3 for the song. It saves time & is easier for judges if you just submit as a .sm file.

You can get more information on submission rules & guidelines by visiting the FFR submission thread.

Thank you kindly, and where / who do I submit them?
