Eradication had polyrhythms almost exactly like that. We took them out.

I'm actually stepping one that's two simultaneous trills, one 24th and one 16th. It's neat. Low bpm so it's actually fun.

Like death piano has? The purple (12th?) note trill and the 16th trill?

Yes, probably.

Sounds like it would be a fun file.

Okay, so this is pissing me off. Do we, or do we not have T+Pazolite permission. It's not on the list, but we have like 3-4 files by that artist in game.

Seriously, What the hell?

Thanks for that.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

I made changes to 2 of my files, but what is PR, and how do you make it better in a file? (sorry, new to simfile judging terms)

customstuff 08-20-2008 05:23 PM

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

PR is Pitch Relevancy. That means higher notes are on the right, while lower notes are on the left.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

Ok, will make further changes knowing that. Thanks

Yea, JX agrees, so please use the challenge steps for Phantom Ensemble. Thanks.

I'm gonna restep my file, but instead of doing the dreaded mistake I did last time, I'm turning the 16th streams into rolls for only one synth lol...

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

Uh PR isn't necessarily that it means arrows go to the pitch ex. A song has a repeating note like G-G-G-G the steps should go up-up-up-up or down-down-down-down

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

I look forward to it, sounds like it could be a nice and challenging simfile.

The whole thing or a cut?

gnr61 08-20-2008 07:16 PM

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

a cut haha that song repeats itself so hard
i dont know if i should send chipscape beginner as a semi-joke (it would be the hardest legit file in ffr by a long shot) or send the normal (oni) chart which would feel a bit odd without the freezes instead of 440 bpm 64th bursts

t-rogdor 08-20-2008 08:32 PM

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

Gotta go back into my chipscape in CVS and add some notes higher than 64ths.

Oh, and i'm thinking about cutting it arround 2 minutes. Right before or after the 2nd 110BPM part.

Edit: Or colab with someone on it and let them do the other 2.

If you're gonna send it in, send in Beginner because doing 440 BPM 8th jumps is no fun.
