I wouldn't say each game, but some certainly do follow that pattern. I can think of several others where there are definitely a couple of big runners, but where the community would totally still be there (including glitch hunters and new ideas and lots of talent) even if the big ones all left forever.

Hopping on the speedrunning bandwagon :)

Here's my run of Jetsons for the SNES



This category of run includes up to the first encounter of the final boss, Zora, with a time of 11:05. In the future, I will be hopefully racing two categories: first encounter and final encounter.

After watching gamers speedrun game after game for an entire week at Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ), I have decided to jump on the bandwagon and start speedrunning games myself. "The Jetsons: Invasion of the Planet Pirates" is a 1994 SNES title. It was a shining jewel of my childhood, so I was surprised when I couldn't find a single speedrun or TAS for this game.

I will lead the crusade of glory for this forgotten classic!

Nice run PrawnSkunk! Looked very clean throughout!

Seems to me like walljumping in that room at 3:02 would save some time, unless you can't chain walljumps like it seems you can.

I think you can cut 11 minutes if you tried :)
