Rato and Dp are underrated a bit. They are both like 115 at least. Rato is literally unplayable to 99.9% of people, dp is more playable but not aaaable.

huh

edit: Rato was nerfed twice from 109 -> 108 -> 107, i dont think either can be moved to 115 considering what actually is up there in that range

I actually find RATO to be much more manageable than Mishnu which is a 103 so maybe that one needs a bump up?
I guess we're talking AAA difficulty in the end though so idk, I'm out of my element like Donny from Big Lebowski

Re: Files that haven't been AAA yet?

I mean if you can actually play them, i can see how you can disagree but for pretty much everyone else they are literally impossible just like the other high rated songs in the game.
The rolls and pure speed needed for RATO is insane...
DP is more manageable, but the jacks, trills and ending trill are insane.

You guys are literally basing them using players who are insane etterna players. Most players will NEVER reach that level and 99.9% of players will never aaa either.

You dont understand how ffr difficulty works

PS: take it to discord or another thread if you wanna argue difficulty further, I'll gladly bring up actual arguments there

therefore it should be 115+?????????????????????

for the amount of time you've been on this website i'm baffled that the fact that you don't understand how this game rates its files

still cant stop laughing at how you said dp is more manageable too, its almost like its an opinion based on a player who cant comprehend the difficulty of AAAing either file.................................................... interesting how that works

i quite liked the days when every hard song was just rated “99”... (laugh tho its nice that the website moved beyond that too

I'm actually going to agree with not polluting the purpose of this thread, but I would like to address one thing:

Difficulties are based on components of charts more than they are the skill required to play them, which is why there are some "easier to perform" charts that are rated higher than the more technical files at lower difficulties. Just because people can't "reach that level" doesn't mean you overinflate the hell out of the difficulty.

Re: Files that haven't been AAA yet?

last time i remembered a charts difficulty shouldnt be heavily inflated because one person cant aaa it

Re: Files that haven't been AAA yet?

Fun fact: as it stands, without Revenge being rated the theoretical maximum skill rating is 114.26. Once Revenge is rated though that limit could very well be over level 115.

Myuka is at 111.87, some 2.39 levels away from perfection.

I can't quite remember a time of such domination in the game like this. Shashakiro had like a 1.02 average rank in the av-miss era but he wasn't as close to the theoretical maximums on a lot of files, plus it was combo based scoring then so apples and oranges. Dossar and samurai got pretty close to perfection in the early 2010's but RATO and Death Piano were so much harder than anything else in-game and they had arguably messier scores on those compared to Myuka's scores on the hardest charts of today.

It boggles my mind how rekt this game just got in the past couple months!

TC_Halogen 08-21-2020 06:47 PM

Re: Files that haven't been AAA yet?

As an aside, the intended rating on Revenge was 116 -- so an average of above 115 is indeed theoretically (and perhaps physically) possible.

CammyGoesRawr 08-21-2020 06:49 PM

Re: Files that haven't been AAA yet?

If it's a 116, Myuka's current score will give him around mid-112. I think we have close to enough proof that maxing out is physically possible, even if the odds are very against Fireball AAA happening.

Re: Files that haven't been AAA yet?

I feel it would be pretty interesting to see if Myuka were ever to decide to try and actually AAA/Rank 1 every song in FFR. With his current domination he has achieved so far, he could absolutely achieve that incredible feat that some players have gotten very close to doing in the past.

Re: Files that haven't been AAA yet?

Didn't samurai get 1.01 or even slightly under at some point? I remember at one point he only had 3 public files left to AAA.

Yeah, something like that. Can't remember exactly how close he got several years ago, but he did get very close to AAAing every public song in the game.

I made this more easily track non-AAA'd files and I didn't see it here:

I'm absolutely floored with how insane things have gotten with this game recently. And honestly, how could anyone in those days have predicted it come to THIS level of insanity?
