Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
GG all. Dug my own grave so I can't really say much about that, but I'd say this game was interesting from seeing everything unfold. I'll be honest, I was not so fond of that night when exchanges were almost exclusively between the confirmed blues, couldn't say much at the time since I was on the suspicion list but I think now I can say it's definitely something we should avoid doing in next games. Please? The whole TPS-Fiction-Pnt mislynches are mistakes we can't really control, everyone played within their mindsets and had valuable reasons to do so, I guess there needs to be a game like this once in a while.
Yes, I'll try to avoid getting paranoid, I definitely learned from that. And I see now that my claims weren't in synch to my actual line of thought, so I'll get on that too. Analysis were weak and I'm sorry I didn't much time to get involved on it as I had in my first game. I mean it was already past two phases when I started considering Manti's play. Didn't even saw Svaz coming though, grats on the sneaky passive play. V played smooth too, and carried well the rest of the game. Kraut, I'm interested in seeing how you'd approach a different game, liked your input. Fiction and Pnt I feel were very sad cases, because there wasn't enough to jump into the train and we fooled ourselves in thinking too fast. I still don't get it but oh well, shit happens. Definitely strong players. Mellon I guess I should have read more of you, I kinda forgot about your game until late and confused you with James. =_= James, you had much more food for your thoughts and I'm glad you were there to bring guidance as days ended. Charu, nice first game, you were definitely stronger later phases. TPS, tbh, I didn't have much trust in your play, but I definitely didn't want to vote for you. Weird how that unfolded from a simple counter vote. Jrodd and Dance: everything is gonna be o.k, I was butthurt at first, but how could I be angry around you guys for any longer than a day :D. YoshL and Pokelda, a real shame you two had to go so quick. I can understand that feeling Pokelda though. :S Just wait until next game. TPS ~ 1990 - 2013 |

^ hahahaha that image
jayde I had an awful read on you lol, my bad! I thought you were emotionally defensive, which reminded me of freaky's game as SK. I don't even know what kind of tell that *should* be but it threw me off big time. we also have different approaches in terms of mechanics, so I was pretty selfish in thinking "he doesn't want to do what I want to do MUST BE WOLF" |
Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
You know, I was talking to someone about this and I had a realization that all the wolves left after Kraut said I was green for sure, lol. (I mean, they knew because of just being a wolf, but an interesting observation.)

Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
I'm taking a break from twig because I need to focus on other things and whenever I play twig it becomes the only reason I wake up in the morning.

Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
play smaller 11/12 man games with two wolves to make up for those of us who are leaving

Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
HAh, once again, I ended being more or less useless.
I was completely sure that I had been blocked by MOMMY DEAREST, and as such, I prepared myself to try to add suspicion towards other people. It didn't work, apparently. Even when Manti remarked about how I had done the same thing to TPS (not voting the person I suspected the most), it didn't matter much, hah Oh well. To next game. |

Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
I thought it was funny that the general consensus was that V was always the second name in a pair of suspected wolves, but everyone was so concerned about finding that first name in the pair that every time there was a mislynch, we searched for the next person who could have been V's wolf mate instead of, yaknow, actually going after V.

next game i'll actually push my reads, we know they'll prolly all be wrong then :\ but cant repeat whatever the fk I did this game haha, oh well was still fun |
Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
the biggest most thorough post danceguy made in the game was a point-by-point accurate breakdown of how i was a wolf on day 2, and i think i just talked about how one should exist in a state of discomfort or maybe it was the speech about confidence i don't remember but after that he lost just enough of either comfort or confidence in my wolfiness to commit to a push against me

Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
when Vs reads are right he is a wolf  new TWG motto

Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
i guess there was also the rationalization that my life had changed so i had changed that gave me some amount of breathing room too

So I decided to push for a lynch against you. And seeing your words in this post-game, your ideas could have caught three wolves, so no regrets from me. |
Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
not killing manti was entirely my bad, twice
fic if you had claimed I would've killed manti d2, and then you could tattle V and maybe post KRAUT IS A WOLF like a minute before night ends in case you die? I assume blues will claim out of getting lynched 100% of the time but that could be a misconception on my part. also I now completely understand why using tattle very early is a bad idea. Quote:

Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
I didn't even look at the thread while I was being pushed against because I didn't think I'd actually get killed. The read on Manti was so clear and the push on Manti was so strong before that that I figured I wouldn't be touched.
I got a text from V at 10:30 that read: hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha that literally ruined my night |
Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
I also told Xiz throughout the game that if the push on me strengthened over time I would tattle myself to spite everyone.
|
Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
Unfortunately I wasn't there to see if I could curb it.
|
Re: TWG CI: Fiction's Birthday Party Postgame
V called me 'the prized possession of this solipsistic orgy' which kind of made up for getting lynched, though. Was very touched.
