Just going for them because i'm a huge fan, and how can I not root for them in the finals.

But I don't really care who wins the cup, would be nice to see LA win it, but would be a nice retirement present for Brodeur, and a good gift for the young captain as well as the red hot rookie. (Parise, Henrique)

Quick and the rest of the Kings have been playing out of their damn minds this entire playoffs.

Brodeur has already won a few (three, I think?), but the Rangers have showed that the Devils have a hard time hanging on to momentum. You know it's bad when you see an oxygen tank next to the Gatorade pitcher, as was the case on the Rangers' bench last night.

Going to go with Kings in six.

Will the Kings be too Quick for Brodeur? Will the tricky Zidlicky continue to fuel the Devils Powerplay? Will Stanley Cup Playoffs experience give the Devils the Greene edge, or will it be the LA Kings that will have Stoll the show? If Game 6 of the NYR-NJD series was any indicator, we'll need to see a magnifique Henrique or Ilya Kovalchuking the puck into the net if the Devils are to take it all, otherwise I dought yt and think the Kings road success give them the edge. This series should promise to be longer than Ponikarovsky's name. The 12-2 record LA has in the playoffs means nothing in the SCF. Just ask Ottawa Senators of 2007..

Having said that,

My call is the New Jersey Devils will defeat the Los Angeles Kings in 6 games at the Staples Center.

Pika, it's because you and Terry picked opposite teams that Mike made that statement. One of you is guaranteed to finish 9-6, and the number of games will come in as the tiebreaker if Plan picks something other than six games.

I see what you did there. :p

Yep. With blue and pika now picking opposite teams, the only folks left fighting for the trophy are those two and Plan_B (assuming he picks).

Also, expect a lot more Spon Cons this round (and hopefully I don't go broke).
Especially if we hit overtime.

Want to pick Kings since they are pretty hot right now, but going to pick against the favorite.

(6) New Jersey Devils vs. (8) Los Angeles Kings in 7 games, not good with picking the amount of games the wins take so picked something different from the people I'm tied with :P

I hate the Devils, but they've faced several really good offensive teams and shut them all down. The Kings on the other hand haven't really faced a decent offensive team for a while.

I think the Devils take this pretty fast. They're as hot as the Kings

If you guess the champ correctly I think you get credits even if you missed rounds.

Also, surprised by all the NJ support. I thought it would be just me and flash.

Mike's got it right, Netjet. Anyone can participate, but if you miss at least one round, you're out of the champion's pool. So you can miss round 2, but still join in rounds 3 and 4.
Nice to have you back. =)

Holy crap, Kings flirting with disaster a couple times in the second period. Easily could be 3-1 due to some nasty turnovers not unlike how they put one past Brodeur.

We are tied going into the final 20 minutes of game 1!
