Is it OK if I also submit steps for the same song?

If the chart is good enough, then it could be added as a collab with Kommi. Collaborations are encouraged! :)
(EDIT: Sorry for double-post)

Yes or no? It's very energetic to listen to, but I feel like this would just lead to generic JS.

it'd be a little biased for me to judge it though. I just finished my chart for it.

I loved that game haha. I stepped Naval Battle for the pack from the SNES version of that game.

P.S All of Scylaax's files a really good and fun.

P.S.S- Kommi's files are probably going to be great too. Debating on whether or not I should even post reviews/judgements for judges' files like Kommi since they're most likely accepts anyways.
EDIT: Yeah they're tight.

I have one more question to the judges. (and to simartists in general)

In video game pack 1-5, you can play FITHOS LUSEC VENOS VITOSEC( the intro song), that song featured in final fantasy viii. I don't know if they are, in some way, an official reflection of the community, but they are always mentioned if someone asks for video game-music. Fithos-song is very centered around the vocals as they are so.. characteristic for the song, and I was wondering about simfiles that are like the fithos-song?

I have gotten the impression that simfiles who generally lean towards the vocals seems to be regarded as crap. Even those who aren't offsync and have a good bpm. I tend to like to step the vocals in my simfiles.. just because the vocals is like the main base to the listener for ex. if you and your friend is discussing music, the vocals will surely be the main conversation-starter.

Besides Fithos, there are lots of others vocal-centered videogameosts..

Re: The VideoGame MegaPack 4!

Oh, I forgot to post this when that difficulty circlejerk was going on. We've figured out the true way to calculate difficulty.

macgravel: omg these file need to be an 14-922 diffculty rating an must be made by judging very close to ITG songs

macgravel: no wait these must be rate by how many note can be pressed before you get your whole finger in your ass and when u do you have to again judge between the notes how long it takes to pull it back out and then u will know the song true difficulty

tsuka: And then you have to ejaculate, count the number of sperms, and divide that by the number of notes in break ya neck, and then finally shit rocket to determine the true ultimate difficulty number for your chart

I don't think the VGMP series has any relation to the video game packs you're referring to... That being said, as long as the files are fun, or stylin' in its own way, it doesn't matter how easy or difficult the song is. This is a "KB" pack however, so the charts need to be made with a keyboard player in mind; at the very least, an index player.

Secondly... Is Akubyou-Taisan from an H-Game! YOU GUYZ?! WTF!!!

As far as I looked it up it was from a PSP game so I automatically assumed PSP games didnt have porn content ouch >_o

I never played the game myself. Only checked the main site to see if this game actually had nudity. ofc, it didn't have a rating and mentions the game is mainly shooting game that was based on a game that was H-game. If anything, I was hoping the game was only R-15, not R-18 and sent the file.

Sorry I should have asked before sending. Oh well I always wanted to step this.

Edit: Did you get the completed megaman file?

Oh cool, I missed those. I'll post what I think about them shortly.

EDIT: Err, the file starts off really good, half of the song goes on without anything happening. I think it's incomplete bro. I didn't feel like the song was repetitive at all. The Guitar solo was rocking, too. I probably wouldn't have cut.

The reason why I wanted to cut was because there was 3-4 remixes of this song and each of them had it's own "good part". The one I'm using now only has one measure of 24th stream.

p.s. Heres the link to the songs. 2nd(used)/5th/6th(great solo)/10th/11th(used)

EDIT: Yeah they're tight.

As good as those files likely are, please try to keep it fair by reviewing all submissions. I just cringed a bit with the notion of even considering such an assumption. :[

EDIT: Yeah they're tight.

The fact that so many simfile artists still name Kommisar "the greatest or most significant or most influential" simfile artist ever only tells you how far Stepmania simfiling still is from becoming a serious art. Metal simfile judges have long recognized that the greatest metal simfile artists of all times are GLoVE and dascookieman, who were not the most famous or popular of their times, let alone of all times. Classical simfile judges rank the highly controversial stargroup over classical simfile artists who were highly popular in forums around FlashFlashRevolution. Simfile judges are still blinded by universal acclaim: Kommisar simfiles were played more than anyone else's (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Metal simfile judges grow up playing metal simfiles, classical simfile judges grow up playing a lot of classical simfiles of the past, they barely know the most popular. No wonder they will think that Kommisar did anything worth of being saved.
