Re: Wanna get into sound voltex?
Choof just mad he's not cool enough to get good at cross knobs
Honestly it's the most fun I've had on a rhythm game and the concept is pretty simple. Don't see how adding an extra dimension to 6k play is gimmicky when it's literally just two knobs Know what's a gimmick? Forced release holds and hold scratches in iidx |
Re: Wanna get into sound voltex?
the difficulty curve isn't even that bad lol
it's gimmicky because of the filters; it literally ruins the music |
Re: Wanna get into sound voltex?
Why would you care lol the music is bad right? Can't get any worse.
Also same could be said about keysounds. |
Re: Wanna get into sound voltex?
yeah a dude with synesthesia has an issue with a game filled with shitty doujin music made by bedroom producers and cluttered with wholly unneeded effects
 |

Re: Wanna get into sound voltex?
While I think it's neat that there's a controller to purchase to play your own SDVX, I find the thread title still a bit misleading. I was expecting some tips on where to actually find the program to play the game. It's not like the game has been officially released onto a gaming console, and I don't think the general public is expected to find their own way to play the game. Now one would probably have to research on an emulator to play SDVX, but regardless I just wanted to point that out.
I think I'll give SDVX a try at AN if it's available, but I certainly won't be...prepared. |

Re: Wanna get into sound voltex?
bump
controllers are on special for 119$ base model http://www.gamo2.com/en/index.php?di...product_id=314 also kshootmania aka sdvx stepmania is a good starting point to start playing this is literally the only rhythm game i still play and it's stupid fun |
Re: Wanna get into sound voltex?
Wow that's heaps cheap. I wonder what is the original price?
With K-Shoot Mania also doing things like BoF (SF2015 - Shooter Festival) I think it is more interesting now to own the controller and then enjoy original songs people made. |
