Very nice. Keep doing what you're doing. Good progress as always 8-) especially the first lighting study. I feel like there might be almost too much falloff in the middle but stylistically its very nice.

Somethin for class

Somewhat, for a yearbook with some sample pages of work from my class aswell as a disc with a demo reel/digital version of the physical book and whatnot.

Some extra additions to the sheet I already posted before:

And the final design I'll be using to model in 3d:

Re: Show your sketching!

thanks. I think I will leave it at this.. the yield is not matching up to the the work needed to do frame by frame :/

Re: Show your sketching!

A few of the animations look a bit awkward and stiff like the blocking of the punches at the beginning and the kick at the end (the rest of the body should move along with the movement) and the arm/body seems to grow exceptionally long when the uppercut occurs, but other than that very nice job

Re: Show your sketching!

I'm droolin over those concepts Tristan 8__8 good execution with using the classic bug inspired design I see in a lot of sci fi stuff.

Also really nice animation Renevatia. Might be tedious and monotonous to draw so much of the same things but it really pays off. Good to know you can do it solidly B)

Here's a page for a spread in my class yearbook. Pretentious a bit but w/e >_>

Yeah I was having a hard time adjusting the last kneeing. I kinda focused on the head's responses to hits since that is easier to guess the position. I'd probably need to find some video reference for more complex maneuvers. Or record myself kneeing someone in the face... >.>
