Re: Song Corrections Thread
I believe the genre of Revenge (ReeK's "Dude, What's A Genre?" Remix) should be "Full Flavor", it's not necessarily stated on the soundcloud page, but I've seen other sources on youtube and various other sites (i.e Syfer Music on YouTube) label it as such, coming from the origin of it being "Karetus - Full Flavor" also doing a genre mashup in the likes of Revenge. Other genre name if not full flavor could just be "Omnigenre" as stated by ReeK's soundcloud profile (not on the song itself but is present on other ReeK songs of similar fashion to Revenge such as Multigenre Smackdown, This Was 2021, The Blood Moon Strikes Again among many others, Full Flavor however still exists as a tag in Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP (ReeK's "Dude Whats A Genre" Remix))

Re: Song Corrections Thread
idk if u can include special symbols but it should be "δ:for the DELTA (Camellia's "PLANETARY//DUBSTEP" Remix)"
if not just name it "Delta:for the DELTA (Camellia's "PLANETARY//DUBSTEP" Remix)" i guess and yea it has a colon after the δ, which i only changed into a hyphen cuz it was fucking with the sm file if i remember oK bye!!!!! |
Re: Song Corrections Thread
I can put a colon, but FFR can't handle special symbols. Works on the website, it doesn't work in-game.

Re: Song Corrections Thread
Hello (BPM) 2021 should have Extratone instead of Extreme J-Speedcore as the song style, given The album's official video states that Hello BPM is extratone.

Re: Song Corrections Thread
I remember the full title of the song "Touhou Judgement in the Sixtieth Year ~ Fate of Sixty Years" couldn't fit before due to some character limit for song titles. Could the entire song name fit now?

Re: Song Corrections Thread
The name of "La Campanella" can stay, but it's actually part of a series of pieces called "Grandes études de Paganini" ("La Campanella" is "Étude No. 3 in G# Minor"), and should be attributed to both Franz Liszt and Niccolò Paganini.

Re: Song Corrections Thread
Forgot to post when I initially did this, but La Camp has been re-credited as such.

Re: Song Corrections Thread
If we're going with Identity (Part 4) (which I feel is good, and correct), then Identity part 5 should be edited to match.
EDIT: And Identity as well as I'm assuming it's another part of the quintfecta. |
Re: Song Corrections Thread
Standardized it as [Part 1], [Part 4] and [Part 5] based on TGWP parts.

Re: Song Corrections Thread
Suggest standardizing how featured artists are handled in a song's attributions. It appears the majority of them are included in the musician name, so just need to fix these:
Shapeshifter (feat. Styles Of Beyond) Snowblind (ft. Tasha Baxter) Suit Up (feat. Southpaw Swagger) |
Re: Song Corrections Thread
Featured artist attributions seem to have changed over the years. I've noticed it's most common now for featured artists to be part of a song title, but in the past, they were part of the artist name tag. I've went with the laissez-faire approach, where I leave it up to the song artist to make that decision, and it's not our place to standardize it.
So if the song is called: "Sunny Day" by "ABC feat. EFG" I'll leave it at that. If the song is called "Sunny Day (feat. EFG)" by "ABC" or "Sunny Day feat. EFG" by "ABC" then that's what it'll be. |
Re: Song Corrections Thread
In the eyes of FFR, since we have to provide accreditation to all authors included in the making of a song (not for attribution standardization, but to meet the prerequisites of how we manage permission seeking; Properly crediting a music artist), the link on-website and on results page for the 'author' field actually links out to our Wiki and contains everything linking outwards to the artist(s) and their webpages, social medias, other content, etc.
I'd like to keep it to a one-link system where we can provide credit to everyone involved in one location. Splitting that up might make that system a little bit more difficult (possibly confusing, if in-game is only 1 music artist but the link gives 2-3 music artists because of featurettes) and so I'd prefer the current system of "song name" by "xxxx f[ea]t. yy & zz" |
