EDIT: This is my 69th post, and it is filled to the brim with over-exposed joy... I see what I did there. |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Congrats Phoenix! You deserve it!
And I lied, I actually have 16. I'm still happy even though it didn't really get accepted xD |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Requesting to put old Batch review thread, even v2, links in OP.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Do 3 +. = accept? (they should iirc)
I might fix up Altair, maybe not. (got pretty shitty reviews :/) Also, good to see A Quick Death will be finally accepted. About time. |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
jx needs to determine the cutoff still (and therefore point reqs) - as I said, there were ridiculous variances in opinions in this batch.
Just give some time. So three +. depends. If the forth score was [+?] or lower, jx would have to determine the overall validity of the difference. That person may have had a good reason for that grade, or he might've just said it was "boring", which is nondescript and often not a valid statement on its own. |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I got + +. +? +? so I'm thinking that's 14 points?
And I really question the sync on my song because for me it's perfect and for rare others it isn't. So I never know what to do with that. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
By the way, something I feel like I should point out:
Are [++] rated files going to still receive that +1 bonus if they don't get accepted? EDIT: Oh, one more thing: because I don't have the two seconds of silence in my file, does that mean that I have to resubmit it in the following batch? Or can I add the two seconds and then just hand it to JX/bmah -- the only changes I made in the file were changing the 5 note bursts of drums to three notes/two notes (respectively), and of course the addition of 2 seconds of silence. |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
lots of varied opinions
++ +? +? +. and + +? +? + for my two files lol |

Is the cutoff...17? ASOIDUGASVPFIUGVASF My file tends to have issues with personal preference. I find that +. is used VERY rarely. Most judges just tend to throw out +? instead. I'm not complaining though. Oh, btw, most of my day was shitty. But: Arch0wl: Phalanx (FFR cut) [+] I liked the descending jackhammer / 48th-note motifs you used here. For sure, I'm going to remember your file because of that. It didn't feel like a generic spread file, which is great. This seriously made my day. <3 |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
CS, you'll likely be accepted since the cutoff is 16/17 depending on your notes. Plus, they're discussing the point system being too subjective this time around so you may get an accept.
And nice comment there :] hope it gets in so I can play it. |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
When I wake up tomorrow, I'll submit my files.

Haha lol jk, actually I kinda had the feeling my file would get rejected and mostly for one of the things almost all the notes had a similarity at: "Technical Errors" lol. But, like I said before, this motivates me even more to keep stepping and hopefully I'll get this chart in by next batch.:-D |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Just sent minor fixes for AcidAce-Alliance and Ark
AcidAce-Alliance should have 859 notes, and Ark should have 747 notes. PLEASE USE THE FIXED VERSIONS INSTEAD OF THE ONES I SENT BEFORE. |
