Re: FFR Community Pack

Yay for late batch 2 notes...

Code:

Get Ready To Rokk-Carla
        ***1/2
Very well stepped... Jack-steps at beginning could have been a bit more interesting--just a bit repetitive with some patterns, but all in all, very nice. Mines were well-placed, if rather annoying at some parts.

Storm-Carla
        ***
Steps were ok... Song seemed a bit easy--the hard parts seemed too hard compared to the rest of the song...

Tribe Attacker-DoctorSerpentine
        **1/2
Steps were ok. Offset was off enough for me to notice the timing feeling rather forced... Try resyncing and redoing the easier steps.

Concertino in Blue-DoctorSerpentine
        **
As much as the steps were ok/good at some parts, the video had basically no relevence to the song and made it extremely hard to play... Please do something about that before anything else.

dicks-robertsona
        0/4
5 seconds long. Waste of my 5 seconds.

1 <3 Voltage-EnR
        **1/2
Resync... Some of the slow-trills changed off of the notes changing...

Deep Breath-Td_boredom
        *1/2
Most boring song I've ever played. Ridiculously easy. Arrows aren't all properly synced. Resync song to arrows anyway.

Blood for Justice-trumaestro
        ***1/2
Nice song--seemed a bit right-hand oriented though... especially the beginning few measures... If that could be fixed, it'd be amazing xD

Vifta Med Haende Ma-buizel8888
        **
        Bland steps, rather offsync.

Nanairopanda-dorama
        **1/2
Too easy/hard in some parts, inconsistant placement of holds (both long and short)... Overall, just some touchups.

The Lunatic Princess-npv
        ***
Couldn't find anything wrong with it... Just REALLY hard... Seemed pretty hard even on just heavy.

Since RFpack2 is postponed, I guess I will actually have to make a file for this for real. I'm pretty sure I know what one its going to be.

PS - Kommi will laugh his ass of at it. :-)

Since my mom was on vacation, I stepped like six songs. One of them I'll be submitting here =P

NFC, yea I know about those trills, I just kept them like that, the blue notes go with the beat that changes, red go with the other beat.

moches, can you update the list of batch 3 submissions :), unless you're just going to do it after you judge, that's fine too.

Actually, no they change like 2 beats after, like if you took it to the beat like this:

<---
-v--
<---
-v--

And moved it up one or 2 in the measure... I'll check again, but I don't think they're correct to the beat changes...

Yeah, I guess the batch is closed now.

Post notes now.

1989- ** Sorry, I still like danceguy’s better. This isn’t bad at all, but there’s a lot more that you could have done, like some stops and some bpm changes, and following the vocals some more. Also, even with the trill, it’s still closer to an 11 than a 13.

All of the World- ***1/2 My file, the best I’ve ever made. Oni’s better than Heavy imo.

Blood and Black Chocolate- ** Nice job. Still, there was a couple of things you could have done to make it more enjoyable. For example, for pitch relevancy, you could have used minifreezes to accent the notes. Also, there were some really superfast notes at times you just ignored. I can understand not wanting to make it retardedly hard, but you could have used freezes to show the notes. But it’s not bad at all, just work on those two things and you’ll be good.

Clear- ** Nice pitch relevancy and accenting chords. I think you missed some notes in there though. Look over your work a little better.

Geno’s Forest- *1/2 Sorry, didn’t really enjoy it. The layering was inconsistent, and I almost quit out at the 24ths, which should be 32nds or 48ths staggered. I quit out at the middle because it wasn’t that fun and I knew how it was going to end.

Hits You Like Thunder- **1/2 I like this. There are some consistency issues, like freeze usage and layering however. Fix it up cause it’s worth fixing.

Incorporation- ***1/2 Super cool and fun, what I’d expect from dore. Nice pitch relevancy and it’s mega fun. The jacks=ouch….

Randomness Reactor- **1/2 This isn’t bad at all. Cool drummery song, definitely more of a 10 than a 9 though, maybe even an 11. Also, some minor melodies in there you could have stepped to make it more enjoyable.

i've always had a problem with layering, I suck horribly at it :(

Batch 3 Reviews - npv

Geno's Forest F-Zero (Coolboyrulez0)

x/xxxx

All charts:
Really bad. The PR is absolutely terrible on this; it's at a level where I can't bear it.
The hold usage is terrible. Some of it is also incorrect. Check it over.
Gap is off by 40-ish ms.

Heavy chart:
Gets repetitive. Hold at the end is what

Oni and edit chart:
Hey making random steps to nothing is a cool way to get a file accepted

Oni chart:
Lots of technical inaccuracies and you miss a ton of stuff. The mines are pointless in this.

Edit chart:
This is a gigantic dump that makes no sense and I hope you go kill yourself
Everything about it is pretty much terrible

Blood and Black Chocolate (robertsona)

xx/xxxx

WHAT IS TECHNICAL ACCURACY
Some layering problems, and the steps are also awkward at times.
Song is also pretty boring/dumb

Randomness Reactor (robertsona)

x/xxxx

again, WHAT IS TECHNICAL ACCURACY
Very lame and boring patterns (overuse of staircases/rolls)
even though they're not really "pitches," it could be more PR
Use jumps and stuff when necessary.
Bad file in general
Bad song in general

1989 (intensez)

xx/xxxx

Fun at parts, boring at others. Some parts feel really understepped.
The 32nd trill is unnecessary. It can be fine as a roll IMO.
Technical accuracy is off on a couple of parts.
Hold length (such as those in the beginning) is dumb/incorrect
Danceguy's is better anyways

Clear (intensez)

x/xxxx

Very dumb and boring file.
Technical accuracy and PR are waaaaay off on this file.
The file was actually really really really annoying for me.
Bad song choice. Makes a way too easy file.
Jump/hand placement- check it.
Strange place to songcut IMO.
The BPM is really half of that (8th notes not 4ths)

Incorporation (dore)

xx/xxxx

lmao this song
Really close to being accepted, but just a couple things I don't like it about it.
The (428)(86) hand/jump thing gets really annoying at the higher tempos.
The quads kind of were a little too much for me; tone it down.
It gets a little repetitive for me near the end :|
lmao this song

Hits You Like Thunder (EnR)

xx/xxxx

Fun file, but it could be even more fun and has some problems.
At the beginning, most of it is actually a 12th swing pattern. Only a couple are 16th gallops.
Play around with holds a little bit; they could be used more/improved more
u cud add a few moar arroes here and dere
^ especially applies to the end
I think this could have a few mine tricks hehe
