Yea I switched over to Spread myself. Too many songs aren't easily PA-able with one hand. I wasn't even able to do some 9s

problem with one handing ffr/stepmania is that keyboards simply aren't designed for it 99% of the time. if you look at a dell keyboard the keys especially the up key are raised like fuc, there's no chance of sliding

Memory lane time:
I remember when I had this super old keyboard that I had eventually mashed down the arrow keys, yet they were still functional. Imagine not even having to press them down, but just having to tap them. Yeah that was nice until the last one dropped and suddenly about 1/3 of the keyboard completely stopped working.
I'm using a "Comfort Curve 2000" now
Not as great but it gets the job done

Re: FFR's Top One Handers

They need to make a keyboard with keys that are both raised but at an equal level. The extra high up key always did like to **** me over but using laptop keyboards makes hitting a [23] jump near impossible because the keys are so low that using the middle finger for both of them is horribly ineffective

Woot! I totally didn't notice FFR was back until today. I'm glad it's back. Brings back memories...I got started on a lot of good bands here, for one thing.

I'm currently playing on my laptop, so not only is there the up-down jump problem, I think the keys are slightly dysfunctional :P plus my school Internet is really bad, especially the place I have to use right now (have to retype this post because it killed it), so hopefully it'll be good enough to actually play, which I will hopefully be doing a lot over the next few day/weeks/etc :P. I hope I can get back to near my previous level.

So yeah, hi :3

I can still play one handed better then most.. I've been dragged down to 9's being my top PA and Combo.
Don't count me out! I play from time to time one handed because it feels nice to know I used to have something I held dear to me.. >.>

One handing should be exclusive to those who were actually able to figure out how to do it well. Which wasn't very many people.
