Back at 70, as a fairly fresh 70 in mostly blues and - resilience, I made a 2v2 team with an equally ungeared level 70 guildmate of mine. We played 3 skirmishes, lost all three in under 20 seconds each, and I've never set foot in an arena since.
Mind you, now I have a holy spec, and 9 or 10 pieces of pvp gear (mostly 213, a 226 and a 245) and so once I get a few more, I might see about poking my head back in. |

Well, I will say that clothies have it the worst in Arenas.
I 3 shot Mages and Priests once I get their bubble down. |

Clothies have the lowest hp and armor out of all the armor classes there are.

Melee should have more health that casters/ranged to begin with. Melee take more splash damage than ranged/casters do. If we had lower health, we'd die as quick as the ranged do when we accidentally stand in a fire for 1 second which ticks for 18k per second(which melee STACK on one another, which would cause use to all die). Plus, I think it's a bit more realistic that plate should have more health than other classes. Plate wearers LOOK like they can take a beating, more than a mail wearer(who can take more of a beating than leather[who can take more of a beating than clothies]) Plus, too much homogenizing is a bad thing. |

I'm wondering how 2x holy paladin would stand up in 2v2s. On the one hand, we don't have all that much damage output, but on the other hand, we'd be grossly difficult to kill.
Probably worse now that the prot healers got nerfed eh? |

Pretty sure that we could keep each other alive quite easily while still dealing a reasonable amount of damage. I can 1v1 people to death in holy without it taking that long. Holy shock, shield of righteousness, judgements, it all adds up.

I've fought a double healer team before, it just takes forever. Literally before they gave arenas a timer, I fought one for over an hour until we gave up.

Judging from everything I've seen Shaman are ridiculous in PvP.
I'm pretty sure every class has at least one talent in either of their trees that reduces stun/fear/silence duration effects. |
