My name is Kayla Marie Markel. I am 28 years old. I am from Altoona/Pennsylvania. I am a college graduate of Penn State University. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology back in May 2012. The type of psychology I am interested is is working with teenagers. I plan on getting my license in Psychology and going to graduate school. I also have dreams of playing my violin over in Japan. Not to mention, move to Tokyo/Japan to be a counselor in a high school. Some things that interest me, well I am really inspired by the Japanese culture. I love Japanese food, fashion, tv, and life. I enjoy working out as well. I work out six days a week. I run stairs, walk stairs, I do taebo, yoga, and dance types of exercises. I have been doing this for 10 years now. I am a vegetarian, but I will eat seafood and seafood ONLY! I have been one now for 10 years in counting. I feel what they do to the animals is cruel and wrong. I also have tons of collections, I collect Hello Kittyand Japanese stuff (just to name a few). Shopping for clothes is another weakness of mine, I love to shop at Jill Punk x Loli, Ebay, Hollister, Aerie, Victoria Secret, Hot Topic, Macys, and Claires. I also have a huge passion for music. Types of music I adore would be...JRock/Visual Kei/JPop/(some)Kpop/Krock. I use to play violin with private lessons for about eight years then I quit. However, I just started playing it after three years and I want to continue playing it. My speciality is playing Japanese rock songs. I can play these songs by ear, no sheet music. I can read sheet music, but I prefer to do it by ear because you can be more creative that way. I also love make-up and bright colors; I love being creative and thinking outside the box. Finally, I love living life, I want to inspire people who are hurting that there is hope out there for you, life is beautiful and just because it may not seem like it right now, you just need to have faith and keep your chin up.
