Yep, today is my 18th birthday. So why am I not happy? I'm fricken sick. =( Yep. I woke up this morning coughing and could only breath in through one side of my nose, same as of now. I got no friends to spend it with until Saturday, and it doesn't help that I am sick. T_T Oh well, there's always next year, if there will be.

I know, it's kinda strange. I've been playing FFR for over half a year and never posted a random thought. SO, I thought I would post something just for the heck of it.

Well, I'll just say this. Some of you (not all of you probably), are probably wondering what kind of karate I take, since my profile pic is me in my karate uniform. Well, it's a style called "Soo Bahk Do". It's more of a defensive style, rather than more of an offensive. Plus, it teaches more of the discipline part. It's non-contact, so it teaches self-control, though there are times when I have been accidently hit, and when I have accidently hit someone. It will happen. Oh, and one important thing is, we do not have a black belt, because we believe it symbolizies "perfection". So we use the midnight blue as a colour that can get darker and darker.

I have been training for about 11 years. So, this is a really big commitment for me. I am currently an Ee Dan (2nd degree midnight blue belt), and I will probably test within the next couple of years for Sam Dan (3rd).

I know thats a lot to take it at first. So, if you got any questions about that, just send me a PM. Also, it's a great style for young childern. In my studio, we have students as young as 4-5 years old, but they are in what we call a "Tiny-Tot Program". It teaches the young students the basic basics for awhile before they get into the regular program.

Ok, I am going to go play a little more FFR now. :D
