There really needs to be serious reconsideration for all of the veteran privileges and determine which features should be made available for all users. Without its counterpart,the downvote; the thumbs up becomes meaningless. Why not remove the thumbs up and only have thumbs down? The same effect would be acheived. If we are going to turn the downvotes and upvotes into just one thumbs up, why should it remain a thumbs up?
