So, random question for fun: what song has the most annoying/difficult patterns for one-handers? The things in Coactive are pretty annoying, but not really too hard to do. And then for like 10+ I start losing any idea of what's going on anyway :P.

Edit: I just played M.A.M.A. on mirror and didn't beat my best score. *facepalm* I'm not exactly totally warmed up right now though.

Edit2: I got 7-0-0-3 on Courage, which like much too good a score for me to be getting on an 8 right now, and then realized I still had mirror on. Not sure how much effect it had, I haven't used mirror much. Is there a rule of thumb for when it would be better to use it?

Use mirror if it turns stuff you're bad at into stuff you're good at. (I much prefer 4321 patterns to 1234 patterns, so if a song has a lot of 1234 but not much 4321 I put mirror on.)

MUAHAHAHA. First 10 FC. Kind of messy (my previous score was 30-1-2-8 with 1306 combo) but hey, I'll take it. Pretty good for being out of practice, haven't played much in the last couple weeks. It's now my highest FCed score and combo (surpassed by MAX Forever, of course).

I'm thinking about it. Thing is, I'm not even aware of enough active one handers to fill the list (I could probably get 10-15, but doubtfully 30). I'm very happy to see a new community of one handers springing up, but so far there aren't enough to make a full list yet.

Possibly. It's difficult to determine that limit. See, too much under 30 makes the list redundant because it'll just include virtually every single active one hander on FFR. That makes the list pointless - it's meant to display the best one handers on FFR, and as of today there aren't enough active one handers to fill all 30 slots let alone enough to make a competitive list.

I may reduce the number of slots to 25 (or possibly even 20), but right now I am waiting to see how many other one handers come out and start playing before I re-configure the list. Good question, though.

Guhhhhhhh why does this always happen to me. This was intense, and I have no fricking clue how I perfected that up-down trill with the oranges in it and then got a good on some random easy thing right near the end. Welp, third traumatic 8 blackflag. Time to go kill myself on today's new 12.

Yes, I see your point. Well, hopefully more people come forth, and try to get into the spots. It would be fun to see more people trying to get the spots. But 20-25 spots meantime is indeed a thought to consider. So I appreciate you thinking about it even!
