Both Moogy and Chardish die?

Cause Crazy Ivans kill by dynomite. Splash damage.

Okay, no, that was weak.

And the vigilante went into cigilante mode in day one over at Arch0wl, too. O_o

Another possibility I'm considering is Moogy kills Chardish while being dragged out of the cell in the story, and thus they both die.

I don't want to use it, though, unless people start really pissing me off for whatever reason. >_>

As far as I'm concerned, this rule means chardish is safe, because if this game is at all realistic, we come to a consensus and kill off moogy before he blows the shit out of chardish. We don't need to wait for the 'sargeant' to come watch us kill him.

Think of it this way, moogy only came forth after chardish because he was instalynched. That's like saying he gets killed, so he comes back from the dead to kill chardish to get revenge.

What's the point of insta-lynch if it doesn't take effect until the host shows up? That throws an unstable variable into the mix.

I initially objected to Tass' locking of the TWG topic when a consensus was reached. But then I realized that if the rule is a person dies when they have 8 votes, a person dies when they have 8 votes. More discussion is A-OK, but the decision is made at that point. And it's too late for anyone to do anything about it - change votes, use vigilante power, etc. And the only reason LD changed his vote is because he didn't realize the round had ended.

I'm as pissed as everyone that we're killing a human this round, but it looks like either way a human is going to die.

Moogy didn't seem too upset <_< he didn't try to avoid it either.

Whether or not the host happens to show up at the right time should have nothing to do with our abbility to break moogy's neck as soon as a majority decides to do so.

That's where our paths branch.

In all my past games, it has.

this is exactly why i am against further vote changing or discussion after all votes are in or an insta lynch occurs...

believe me, i'm quite upset also about losing a 100% confirmed human... but i also don't want to lose chardish, who i strongly believe is human.

if you are going to allow more discussion kilga, then the end result will be qreepy's death and chardish's death.... or, otherwise, the INSTA-lynch happened, and moogy dies.

those are the only 2 scenarios. and from the fair play and rules standpoint, i have to say that moogy alone dies. and, i will note that i voted qreepy from the start.

As much as I hate to say it, here goes.

Chardish yelled at me last game, for not doing things my own way, for copying his style too much.

Chardish wanted hosts to run things differently, and I think we have to let Kilga do it his way, as he has done it in the past.

ok LD... if we do things kilgas way, then let us keep working on the votes.... qreepy will wind up dying along with chardish, and we keep moogy around, who is a 100% confirmed human.

I agree with Chardish, and not just because he's a useful human. The rules do clearly state an instalynch happens at 8 votes...so Moogy would have been dead before he could have done anything. This is just for the humans' protection--if we instalynch a wolf and he says "oh no, I'm the seer/guardian!" will we turn around and save him that day too?

The problem here is that kilga seemed to change his rules just now. This is how I beleive day 1 should have ended.

Point is, Kilga's job is NOT to side with the humans and kill specific people off. So he won't be wanting to listen to biased points of view.

That being said, I have no idea what to vote for in this situation.

LD, I was pissed at you because your "voting guide" seemed like you were trying to imitate me with the (C) and the ™ and whatever. It was a petty quarrel, I apologized, and I thought we were over this.

I know this is Kilga's call, but I don't advocate different hosts changing the way an insta-lynch is determined.

This is an unfortunate, crappy situation. We lose a human either way...
