Here's an image from the song I had used in the other two screenies. The row of icons for other songs are all identical, only the stop sign is lit up.

the song has stops, and it seems that c-mods still disqualify on songs that have stops (as well as delays, warps, speed segments and scroll segments).

I'll look into it for the next version.

I always found it a little frustrating, probably because I never fully understood why he cared so much about the people that don't like SM5 enough to regularly get angry over it.

yep. i always felt the same as you, i even told him sometimes at twitter but he doesn't seem to care.

i hope he can ease his mind eventually...
