The hardest parts are the 24th trill transitions, particularly the one in the first stream that leads into the up/down flam.

lol how did you AAA the 24th streams with that max combo? Did you miss somewhere in the slow jump break connecting the two streams lmao

![]() I wish I could understand why anytime I make a stream faster than around 230 bpm, people say they don't like the patterns... It's especially weird to me because I love the kind of rolly, 1234 and 4321 based streams that I make. For me they are the best patterns for high speeds, but I keep getting comments like that so it's clearly not the same for others. Please PM me and explain, I'd love to learn what it is I'm doing wrong! |

I find most of hi19's streams comfortable <_<;
...then again, I'm better at index-friendly streams. |

Rave7's streams were way better on mirror -- it has to do with how 23 and 32 transitions work out, since I actually wound up hitting a lot of them as jumps (yes, in between 2 frame intervals). Simply put, a lot of 23 and 32 transitions in the middle of a stream are very annoying.
What sucked a lot too is the left right trill to the two up down notes. I always had to hit that as a jump, otherwise it was avsplit with boo. Edit: ![]() Stepping Guide 101: When making streams, having a lot of 23 and 32 transitions can get annoying very fast. This is why split rolls with a lot of 23 and 32 patterns are brutal to score on because in reality what happens is that a good amount of them actually get hit as jumps. Of course there are also a good amount of 23 and 32 transitions I hit without jumps, but they were still more like gallops rather than anything. Edit: Looked at Halogen's Eclipse replay, it's not like this is just limited to me either. Pretty much everyone falls victim to it, or has a really high risk of doing so. ![]()

That looks like a good explanation of how I mess up jumpstreams that I might be hitting nonjumps as jumps.. Hm.

Oh Dossar, interesting. I'll be sure to remember that, I never realized quite how bad those transitions were to hit if they are 2-framers in the middle of a stream fast enough to contain 1 frame intervals elsewhere.

To me this is why I'd consider it pretty important for a speed player to test out your file for annoying transitions and such. The stream in Rave7 and Eclipse are "doable" but they're not particularly the best for scoring, haha.
