Hello, very long time player here. Question for anyone who can create steps
I have been playing ffr since it's inception and have never once decided to make any kind of post. I love this site, i love it's creators. I know they are like me and had a strong connection with DDR and its generations. I competed several times in tournaments and met many people who love this genre and to this day it remains my go to adrenaline rush fix. As an adult i've come to appreciate this decade that FFR has provided me and would love to support it. Also I am interestted in the people who create steps, could there be any classical steps made if anyone has times?
Edit** apparently everyone lost their marbles becaase I haven't recovered my original account before the site was down for some time... kind of missed the point of the post . forget anything i said about sharing my experience with this game and my love for it. I am new to posting in the forums here and wanted to tell my story before making a huge request. and maybe a step artist out there is bored? Last edited by skeetbcc; 06-27-2014 at 11:33 AM.. Just a question: Do you have an old profile from 2002/2003?

I'm not sure what you mean by "classical steps." Can you please clarify?

Yes i do, Couldn't remember my old one before the site was down for awhile. My brother may have his account as well still which was from the same time. Either way we did spend most of the time on this game 2003-ish to 2006. This game has been around for quite some time now that i think about it o.o

Re: Hello, very long time player here. Question for anyone who can create steps
There are probably thousands of simfiles to classical music. Unfortunately they are probably spread out all over hundreds of packs and single releases.
If you just want simfiles then try looking here. http://stepmaniaonline.net/index.php?page=downloads |

Re: Hello, very long time player here. Question for anyone who can create steps
There's the entire "Classical" genre on FFR which has plenty of charts. If you're looking for a specific piece or artist to have steps made for, you can post it, and if FFR has permission (most classical music is old and in Creative Commons) someone might volunteer to step it.

Re: Hello, very long time player here. Question for anyone who can create steps
My question had to do with whether "classical" meant a classical genre song or a classic "well-renown" song that users new to the forum often inquire about (DDR songs, etc.). In both cases however, it's just a matter of finding a song we have permission from, and a list of permissions can be found here, though it needs to be badly updated. From that point, if you can't step a file yourself, try going through the list of simfile artists which you can find on the song list page and kindly make a request. Hope that helps!
