New Years Nostalgia Tourney

Hey guys I was just randomly having a major nostalgia blast with some of the older ffr files tonight and was like hey I wanna do a nostalgia tourney. The site has been here for 10 years now so basically this tourney will not use any files that were released in the last 5 years. All files will be from 2002 - 2007, yes this does mean there is a chance of synth files being used.

Scoring and Eliminations/Details
This tournament will be scored using FFR's raw scoring system, and will be played on the official FFR engine. For those of you who are new to tournaments, this is the score on the bottom of your game screen while you're in a song - it is also your score before any bonuses are factored in.

This will be an elimination tournament consisting of 6 rounds. Elimination structure will be determined based on signups.

Divisions
This will be a 5 or 6 division tournament dependent on signups. A lot of these tournaments tend to not really get D1 players so we may not need 6. I will place people based on their level stats and recent games. If there's any issues with placements contact me via PM or skype, do not post about it in the thread.

Rules/Information
Sign-ups will be open until January 4th, 11:59 PM server time. The tournament will begin on January 5th, at 12:00 AM server time. Rounds will be three days long unless noted otherwise.

1.) You must have a minimum of 250 games on your FFR account, spanning over at least 75 fully played songs, with an account age of at least 0.1 years. This is not only to ensure that alternate accounts don't raid the tournament, but also to ensure that I can make a proper placement based off of your level ranks. SIGN UP WITH YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT, or tell me the name of your main account if you're signing up on a less known account. If you enter using an alternate account without making a mention of it, you will be removed and will not be allowed in under any account.

2.) NO CHEATING. If at any point in the tournament I feel like you have used/abused any loophole, exploited any particular rule, played on someone else's account/had someone else play on your account, or have used other means to increase your scores, you will be disqualified.

3.) Be respectful to all other competitors in this tournament. Arguments will NOT be tolerated, and can result in immediate removal in the tournament.

4.) If you fail to submit for a prize round while still in the tournament, you will not receive your prize, and your prize will be passed down to the next place down! Top 5 in every division receive a prize.

Submission Guidelines

You will need to submit a screenshot of your score in this thread. Replays alone will not be accepted.

Submissions will be either:

- screenshots: all screenshots must include the in-game timestamp/user name, and should not be cutoff/modified for any reason. Screenshots with the in-game username as "anonymous" will NOT be accepted. Replays will not be accepted on their own. Feel free to accompany your screenshot with a replay.

For those of you who do not know how to take a screen shot:

Mac users:
- Command + Shift + 3: Takes a screenshot of the entire screen, and saves the image to your desktop. From there, you can upload it to a site like imgur.com and crop it if necessary.

Windows users:
- Press the print screen button. From there, open Paint (or another image editing program) and paste your image in Paint. If you'd like, you can resize it within Paint at this time. From there, you can upload it to a site like imgur.com and crop it (if you haven't done so).

If you are requested to submit video proof

- videos: all videos must show the entire song, from first note to last note. When the song has been completed, the video must clearly show the score, and all of the elements to make a complete screenshot. If you're in doubt about the video containing all of the necessities, take a screenshot along with the video and post it.
