Re: It's above freezing!
55 F over here...in Eastern Washington. This is quite a feat, and probably the warmest we'll get until next spring.
Also, Fahrenheit is much cooler than Celsius. Instead of Fahrenheit 451, it would be Celsius 232.777778, which is just lame. Besides, doesn't it make so much more sense that water freezes at 32 and boils at 212, instead of 0 and 100? Sheesh. Use your brains, people. Fahrenheit is clearly better.

Re: It's above freezing!
Yesterday we had our first big snow fall.
( There were two days when we had light flurries but nothing stayed on the ground ) Taken around 4pm. It sharpened for some reason when I resized, soo. Taken around 6pm. Also, I made a special snowball. ( kept on holding it so it went icy... ) It continued to snow even after I took the last photo. ----- It is currently -0°C but it feels like -5°C which is 32°F. ( feels like 23°F ) Trust me, actual temperatures around here are usually -10°C and below in the middle of winter. I think it's funny when people complain about it being like, 50°C or 60°C. *cough* MalDON *cough*

Re: It's above freezing!
There was a fire about 20-30 miles from my house that started saturday because it was so hot. I wish it snowed where I live.

are you retarded sumzup?
272 kelvin is freezing point of water. 0 degrees kelvin is absolute zero

Re: It's above freezing!
Oh my mistake, lol. I was thinking celsius while reading kelvin and addition instead of subtraction etc etc. I should go commit suicide. I'm supposed to be good at chem >_>
(not at the moment, apparently)

Re: It's above freezing!
wow, snow! i wish we had some of that here. we usually get a little bit in waco, but in my hometown of victoria (central tx coast) we get a flurry maybe once a decade (except 2004, when we has a christmas eve/christmas day snowstorm of over a foot - the whole town freaked, especially since it had been in the 80s earlier a few days before. it was the first time i ever made a snowball/snowangel/snowman - at the age of 17). its chilly now here since the cold front has blown through. i hope it freezes so i dont have to go to class tommorow and my bacteriology test is cancelled.
p.s. the smart people use kelvin. |

It doesn't matter where the server is based, it's on the internet, the internet isn't american, and there are plenty of non-american users. It just kinda bugs me when americans act like they are the only ones who exist on the internet.
