Suggestion for skill tokens.
I think that skill tokens should be as difficult to earn as their actual difficulty in the game.
For example, BB Revenge is a song for masters only. The requirement should then be something like "FC BB Evolution" or something like that (maybe not that hard, but it's only an example) I'm not a really skilled player, but I thought that it was very easy to unlock BB Revenge. Yet, I'm not good enough to reach a 200 combo on the song which has over 2000 IIRC (played it only once) What do you think? |

well... in many cases, this will be true. in THIS case... we wanted people to be able to access BB Revenge. because it's an extremely well made file AND a very cool song.

well, how about something for how many games you play, like congrats youve been in 100 games of ffr or multiplayer skill tokens (just a thought) but you should have an even amount of expert, novice, and n00b skill tokens that way everyone can feel special because they are getting better
i think its a good idea, anyone else? |

Get more misses than boos on BB Revenge and still pass. It's not very hard if you miss some on purpose on easy parts where you know you won't fail, and don't mash.

I'd like that idea...if it didn't encourage people to boost their levels, which it would.
Edit: and I mean boost as in lose to themselves.

as of now, our technology on skill tokens is limited to stuff that you've seen so far.
but fear not, we're working on making skill tokens have a wider range of unlocks.

You could use two different places. Also, some people don't have very multiplayer capable computers. Too much lag and such. Also, if you do games played, people can just boo out of songs over and over... So a grand total score skill token would be better.

sorry bout the minor bump, but i had another great idea (at least i think so) we can have skill tokens for... well doing bad, such as passing a song with negative points, hard but probably possible, you guys understand me?
there could also be some for playing)and passing) every song in sucession well, put simpler if you beat each the games we played sgons from 1-5 in that exact order you should get a token lemme hear some feedback--kylo |

Question: Can u use autofail on Hellbeat to get the token, so like, after u get the 200 combo, once u get 10 boos or misses, the song will end and u get the token?

it is mathematically impossible to pass a song with a negative score. period.
also, i code every skill token to make sure that auto-fail won't allow someone cheap access to the token. you have to have at least 504 notes hit to get the token. perfects + goods + averages + misses have to be at least 504, which is the total number of notes in the songs. that way, if you auto-fail out after the 1st 200 notes... you won't get it.
