That's what I like to call making alliances, it's as dumb as it sounds and is one of the many reasons I don't much care for OOTC. However, it's a double edge sword and can very easily be the undoing of us townies.

FFR frowns upon quotes within quotes just as a site principle. You can manually put them back in and they'll work but there's little reason to actually do it. If you need to show a back and forth to make a point then what I do is just muti-quote 'em.

People explaining that to him probably aren't doing it for town cred they are probably wanting him to play the game properly since it took us forever to even get a game. Not sure where you can point fingers at in this case.

Alliances are part of this type of game. We already had a smaller voice chat yesterday where we reflected on past TWGs with voice calls and how wolves were always infiltrating. We're not going to go that route again where we clear people just for being in the call.

It's dumb to me because, if your alliance is solid and has absolutely no deep wolves in it, the strategy becomes less about figuring things out through night actions and user comments and more about pure process of elimination.

I actually haven't read the entirety of the OP in full to see if there's any counter to this method of play, but from my experience with these OOTC games, it usually boils down to an alliance vs everyone-else.

The last comment was me saying if there is a wolf diving deep into the alliance, then the strategy just won't work if they're good enough at being persuasive and trustworthy. Usually at this point, the game can become interesting if everyone wises up and stops the alliance crud, but I can 90% see this game go the "alliance" route and go from there without any punishment to the wolves.

the one piece of game-pertinent info in thread is antori thinking we should no-lynch. i don't think it's a big deal; all newbies say this shit (iirc this is his second game). at least the last game i played with him i pegged him as a wolf for having a "newb wolf mindset" and i was wrong, so im not using that same line of reasoning again.

i think prying into it is suspicious. not enough for a vote (though with 5 pages of thread, there isn't much info at all).

i feel like sunfan is voting for me as a reaction test, which is cool and all, but my reactions are going to be a bit subdued since life absolutely sucks rn
